AYR

Race 1 No8 SAUCE OF LIFE (Nap)
Trainer: Nicky Richards – Jockey: Brian Hughes

Dual bumper winner SAUCE OF LIFE was rolled over by Lakota Warrior when odds-on for his first run over jumps at Wetherby but is going to be all the wiser for this clash with the penalised Ffos Las winner Lebowski. Regarded as one of the best novices in his powerful stable, he can go one better and is one to follow.

Race 3 No5 FAMOUS BRIDGE
Trainer: Nicky Richards – Jockey: Brian Hughes

The same trainer/jockey combination can take out this longer novices’ hurdle with the promising FAMOUS BRIDGE. The selection shaped with a deal of promise when second on hurdling bow at Carlisle. That was his first outing under Rules and will have made him more streetwise.

Race 6 No1 KNOWWHENTOHOLDEM
Trainer: Milton Harris – Jockey: Mitchell Bastyan

As the only winner in the concluding bumper, KNOWWHERETOHOLDEM carries a 7lb penalty and is up against some promising types. However, he beat a decent yardstick in Barest Of Margins on that Newton Abbot debut and his stable could hardly be in better form.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 2 No12 SONNETINA (Each Way)
Trainer: Denis Coakley – Jockey: Hollie Doyle

SONNETINA has had her share of chances without managing to convert. This hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for the mare, but she fared better when troubling the judge here at the start of the month, and from a good draw should obtain a stalking position from which to be launched in the straight.

Race 4 No13 JUST A TAD (Nap)
Trainer: William Haggas – Jockey: Tom Marquand

Intello filly JUST A TAD can benefit from an educational first visit to the track when just out of the money at Nottingham. This switch to the Polytrack surface should present no issues, as she’s trained well on it at home.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 4 No1 FITWOOD STAR (Nap)
Trainer: Roger Teal – Jockey: Cieren Fallon

FITWOOD STAR is a fascinating runner on his return from exactly a year on the sidelines. He delivered after a two-year absence over this course and distance last October and is ready to go in this bid to make it four successes from as many starts for his trainer.

Race 5 No5 GODDESS OF FIRE
Trainer: John Ryan – Jockey: Cieren Fallon

GODDESS OF FIRE rarely leaves the racing stage without some sort of cheque, and looks the safest way to go in this fillies’ handicap. She’s enjoyed a bountiful autumn with a brace of wins at Yarmouth, and been in the money on several other occasions. She just needs to show she handles the Tapeta surface on this first run here for almost a year.
