LUDLOW

Race 5 No4 SON OF CAMAS
Trainer: Nicky Henderson – Jockey: Nico de Boinville

Although he has largely underachieved over fences, this looks a good opportunity for SON OF CAMAS to step up to the plate. He didn’t fare too badly on seasonal return in a better race at Sandown, a run that should have put the cutting edge on him.

Race 6 No4 NELSONS ROCK (Nap)
Trainer: Colin Tizzard – Jockey: Harry Kimber

NELSONS ROCK landed some good bets to open his account at Taunton and can continue his progression by going back-to-back off his revised mark. A good jumper, he finds extra when challenged and can show that he’s still a step ahead of the assessor.

MUSSELBURGH

Race 1 No7 GARDE DES CHAMPS (Each Way)
Trainer: Keith Dalgleish – Jockey: Brian Hughes

GARDE DES CHAMPS has title race leader Hughes on board for his debut under Rules and could be a threat to the two horses in front of him in the betting. The former Irish pointer put in a very promising run in a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan and has trained well for his first run for new connections.

Race 5 No3 BOOTLEGGER (Nap)
Trainer: Tristan Davidson – Jockey: Kevin Brogan

Granted a strong pace from which to attack his rivals in the straight, BOOTLEGGER can gain a deserved first success of the season. He ran into one when beaten by Geordie Des Champs at Uttoxeter but the pair pulled clear, making it very solid form. The cash was firmly down on him that day, and he can now show it was merely lent.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 4 No1 BIBULOUS (Nap)
Trainer: Henry Candy – Jockey: Rob Hornby

BIBULOUS absolutely bolted up at Kempton and rates a good bet to follow-up under a penalty as he returns to the seven furlongs trip under the same jockey that won on him last time.

Race 7 No11 TRUSTY RUSTY (Each Way)
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Jason Watson

The ultra-consistent TRUSTY RUSTY has a very good draw from which to get competitive in this concluding sprint handicap. She boasts a great record for her trainer, with figures of 11223 in as many starts. She remains at the same level and has to be dangerous getting weight from all her opponents.
