Race 1 (Maiden Claiming)
No9: WOLOWITZ
Trainer: Ron Moquett – Jockey: David Cabrera
This stable sent out a recent winner and is parsimonious with its runners, which affords respect to WOLOWITZ to keep up the good work. The Distorted Humor gelding put in a career-best at Sam Houston on latest start and has trained well for a first public appearance at this track. Test The Water ran well on his own first look at the WR course when second after his rider put up 4lb overweight. It proved costly and he will be keen to put the record straight. In a poor race, Sazerac Remedy could get into the money.

Race 3 (Allowance)
No10 DONT TELL NOOBODY
Trainer: Karl Broberg – Jockey: David Cabrera
A dual scorer from his last three appearances here, DONT TELL NOOBODY shouldn’t suffer for the move to a top barn and as one of the few three-year-olds in the field can take advantage of his weight for age allowance from the widest post. This is just a sixth career start for the selection, who can see off Centergee. The latter opened his account over track and trip at the end of last month and can progress. Big Game Hunter usually takes home a cheque, which has been the case on his last four races here.

Race 6 (Allowance)
No1 TARUCA
Trainer: Ray Ashford Jr – Jockey: Ken Tohill
This is best left to TARUCA, who though proving costly to follow does know how to win and has everything in his favour. The gelding caught the same tartar twice when outpointed by Miltontown in consecutive allowances in March and April, starting as a 4-5 and 11-8 favourite for those races. He was also second on his first start for Ashford and needs to go one better from his good post on the rail. Parched has hit a rich vein of form but the hat-trick seeker needs to show his liking for this new terrain, leaving Coach Adams as another to include in exotics as a persistent door knocker that struggles to actually win.

Race 9 (Stakes)
No1 COUNTRY DAISY
Trainer: Ray Ashford Jr – Jockey: Ken Tohill
With her superb record of 3 from 4 at the track, COUNTRY DAISY can show that her 22-1 Stakes win here last month was no fluke. She held the call from Spring Steen and should confirm her superiority even though the latter should only now have reached a peak fitness level. Inagoodway is also closely matched with Spring Steen and although set to run into the money is importantly taking another step up the class ladder. For value, Lady Orchid could improve and be a factor on her third run back, and goes in.
