Race 1 No7 PHOENIX GLOW (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Rose Dawes

PHOENIX GLOW can follow in the footsteps of stablemate Whistledown by taking out the opener. The Bungle Inthejungle filly has remained on the same mark as when finishing best of all at Bath. A consistent performer, she can make this a second success at Brighton under the talented Rose Dawes.

Race 3 No5 LONG CALL
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Molly Gunn

Carroll saddles recent course winner Send In The Clouds but may have a better chance of taking the spoils with LONG CALL. He’s been in good form of late with successes on the Flat and over jumps and can bounce back from a rare off day at Stratford.

Race 6 No3 MOONDIAL
Trainer: Daniel Kubler – Jockey: Jim Crowley

With figures of 431412 MOONDIAL is likely to be in the thick of things in this seven furlongs handicap. She missed out to a well treated foe in Turquoise Diamond but can build on that pleasing first visit to this track, having been suited by its switchback nature.

WORCESTER

Race 3 No6 NEWMILL GETAWAY (Nap)
Trainer: David Brace – Jockey: Conor Brace

NEWMILL GETAWAY ran right away with a bumper to open her accp7nt here at the start of the month. If in the same mood an an admittedly slight hotter contest she should follow-up.

Race 5 No7 MR MACKAY (Each Way)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

Named after the prison warden in Porridge, MR MACKAY is a horse I’ve been looking forward to see run over hurdles. He contested some strong bumpers last season including when fourth at Cheltenham on New Year’s Day. Though underwhelming on his final start at Taunton, he’s schooled well over hurdles at home and has a better chance than his price indicates of making it a winning debut over jumps.

Race 6 No5 AR EL BEE
Trainer: Harry Dereham – Jockey: Paul O’Brien

The Geordie Ginge has had a few chances so I shall oppose him with AR AL BEE, whose trainer has made a solid start to his career. The lightly-raced selection showed signs of improvement on his debut for Dereham at Newton Abbot, and if going forward from that could easily take away a cheque.

Race 7 No12 CELESTIAL PARK
Trainer: Ben Case – Jockey: Jack Quinlan

Now that she has put her head in front CELESTIAL PARK is a mare to stay with. She’s up 6lb for a convincing Uttoxeter win which was he first worthwhile sign of ability. But she still receives more than a stone and a half from top weight and main danger Methodtothemagic, which should prove too much for the latter.

THIRSK

Race 4 No2 CANDONOMORE (Nap)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

Easterby’s horses are running as well as at any time of the season, which augurs well for CANDONOMORE opening his account in this novice. The Almanzor colt caught the eye when pipped by the more experienced Loose Cannon at York. He will be more streetwise for this clash with the penalised Zabriskie Point.

Race 5 No7 JAZZAGAL (Each Way)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

JAZZAGAL has looked like a horse getting ready to win on his last few outings. Two earning efforts at Beverley bear testament to that, and he shou
D be forgiven a disappointing effort at Bath to where he didn’t travel well.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 2 No9 MISS GALLAGHER (Each Way)
Trainer: William Jarvis – Jockey: Saffie Osborne

It’s hard to eliminate many in this Class5 handicap but one that can get into the shake-up is MISS GALLAGHER. The Dark Angel filly is well drawn at a course where she’s earned on both visits and should be involved, with Osborne an eye taking booking as she jumps back onto the selection.

Race 3 No10 SILVRETTA (Nap)
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

One of only two fillies in the field, SILVRETTA brings the best form to the table and should prove too strong for a couple of penalised former winners. The daughter of Invincible Spirit found only subsequent Lillie Langtry and Park Hill Stakes heroine Sumo Sam her superior when last seen at Newmarket and if ready after such a lengthy absence will surely be hard to beat.

Race 5 No3 STUDY THE STARS
Trainer: George Baker – Jockey: Neil Callan

STUDY THE STARS continued from where he’d left off when scoring on his belated return to action at this venue earlier in the month. Seeking a third success on the bounce at his favourite track, he will take plenty of stopping.
