PONTEFRACT

Race 1 No6 SELECTION (Nap)
Trainer: Craig Lidster – Jockey: Shane Gray

SELECTION had Komorkis behind on debut at Hamilton. The Cotai Glory filly has bloomed since that first foray onto the track and is strongly fancied to open her account.

Race 5 No2 KNIGHTSWOOD
Trainer: Charlie Johnston – Jockey: Joe Fanning

Al Snoud should be suited by stepping up,in distance but might have to play second fiddle to KNIGHTSWOOD. The selection has been threatening to win, and with his stable running into form needs to be taken seriously following a couple of solid earning runs at Doncaster and Haydock.

Race 6 No3 MOUNT KING (Each Way)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: Sean Kirrane

MOUNT KING faded after trying to go from close to the pace at Wetherby but should be happier returned to a track where he was successful last year. He faces strong competition from NEW KINGS ROAD but if getting a strong pace can swoop to conquer.

FFOS LAS

Race 4 No5 NAVARRE EXPRESS (Each Way)
Trainer: Hugo Palmer – Jockey: David Probert

NAVARRE EXPRESS went down in a bunch finish at Hamilton in a run that should have made the Roaring Lion filly cherry ripe. Interestingly the selection recorded her only previous career success at this course, and she can step up to the plate.

Race 5 No2 KALAMA SUNRISE (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: David Probert

KALAMA SUNRISE has thrived since having cheek pieces added and bids to sidestep the handicapper in this attempt to complete a quick-fire hat-trick. She scored with a four lengths cushion at Chepstow, has taken those exertions in her stride and should make no mistake.

HEXHAM

Race 1 No11 FOXWOOD (Each Way)
Trainer: George Bewley – Jockey: Joshua Thompson

FOXWOOD looked to be running into form when claiming a minor cheque at this course earlier in the month and can make this a first career success by staving off the attentions of Executive Pool.

Race 4 No8 STUTI (Nap)
Trainer: Hughie Morrison – Jockey: David Bass

I can’t remember the last time Morrison sent one on the long haul here from Berkshire and with that in mind, STUTI needs respecting. The mare frequently troubled the judge, and though no star hails from a stable that has its horses running into some form.
