YARMOUTH

Race 2 No5 INHERIT (Each Way)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute – Jockey: Ryan Moore

INHERIT has a lot to live up to being a daughter of Kingman out of the top-class Queen’s Trust. The home-bred didn’t cut any ice on her only start last September, but has developed physically and mentally to suggest that whatever happens today she is one to follow.

Race 4 No2 BALTIC ( Nap)
Trainer: Harry Charlton – Jockey: Ryan Moore

Frankel colt BALTIC is unbeaten in handicap company after scoring at Pontefract and Doncaster with the addition of cheek pieces. Ryan Moore takes the reins for the first time and a hat-trick is on the cards though KOJIN should ensure the Nap doesn’t have things all his own way and is a major threat.

FONTWELL PARK

Race 7 No2 BLOW YOUR HORN (Nap)
Trainer: Ian Williams – Jockey: C Todd

BLOW YOUR HORN has been around the block a few times but remains relatively unexposed as a jumper. His best hurdling effort came on handicap debut when he was narrowly denied at Warwick, and on a difficult card for punting he’s one that can prove an exception.

HAMILTON PARK

Race 5 No3 SOUND REASON
Trainer: David O’Meara – Jockey: Mark Winn

SOUND REASON hasn’t quite cut the mustard since his move to the O’Meara yard but is becoming very well-handicapped. There was a ray of light in his frame finish at Hamilton last time, and given the rub of the green he can grab a bigger cheque

Race 6 No8 TRUE NATION (Nap)
Trainer: Richard Fahey – Jockey: Oisin Orr

Encouragement that TRUE NATION has turned a corner came with her Nottingham success which makes her the go-to horse in this low grade handicap, though she will need to show it was no fluke with recent winners Ledger and Golden Valour in opposition.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 2 No7 INLET (Each Way)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute – Jockey: Richard Kingscote

Newmarket stables have a strong hand in this interesting maiden and a market check is advised on INLET. The daughter of Golden Horn carries the second colours of owners Cheveley Park Stud but in spite of her inexperience could be the one to trouble those with previous public form, including Incensed.

Race 3 No8 THE TERMINUS (Each Way)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute – Jockey: Richard Kingscote

From the same stable THE TERMINUS must also be monitored in the betting. By Too Darn Hot out of a Kingman mare, she will benefit from the experience but finds herself in a race that has cut up, with those that haven’t run likely to dominate the outcome.

Race 4 No4 BLUE DAY (Nap)
Trainer: Harry Charlton – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

BLUE DAY smoothly converted on handicap bow at Southwell, but took a long time to reach top gear when trying to follow up at Windsor. The son of Blue Point will appreciate this return to an all-weather surface and should be happier in this bigger field. He’s perfectly drawn one off the rail and rates the best bet on a very interesting card.

Race 5 No7 WARBLER (Each Way)
Trainer: Hughie Morrison – Jockey: Billy Loughnane

Bated Breath filly WARBLER takes my eye on this first run in a handicap in which she gets weight from all six of her opponents. Interestingly star apprentice Loughnane was in the irons for her comeback run at Wolverhampton, while on breeding she’s likely to benefit from the move up to a mile and a half.

Race 7 No4 GOBLET OF FIRE
Trainer: Nicky Henderson – Jockey: Kevin Stott

GOBLET OF FIRE returns to the Flat for the first time since joining Henderson, having landed a maiden hurdle at Hereford and finished in the money in his three other starts out of Seven Barrows. Three victories in handicaps for his previous handler last year indicate he could be one to follow in staying races through the summer.

Jackpot Perm (Races 3-6)

3, 2, 1 x 3, 5, 7 x 3, 10, 5, 7 x 8, 2, 3, 1
