HEREFORD

Race 1 No6 DON’T TELL DAVID (Nap)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

Warwick bumper DON’T TELL DAVID has been well tutored for this first run over hurdles. The Yeats gelding hails from a yard that is rapidly running into form, and with the added assistance of a first-time tongue tie can thwart penalised Irish challenger Caldwell Diamond.

Race 2 No4 CORNICELLO
Trainer: Jamie Snowden – Jockey: Jonathan Burke

CORNICELLO has gone 121 in his races through the autumn and early winter and is a horse on a mission, reappearing just six days after a comfortable triumph at Wincanton where he attracted significant market support. He went up 2lb for that but should follow-up with Jonathan Burke back in the saddle.

Race 3 No4 EROS (Each Way)
Trainer: Kayley Woollacott – Jockey: Ben Godfrey

Model of consistency EROS made a pleasing return to action when taking home a minor cheque at Hereford. He had a good blow and has been made fitter and should put in another big earning run under a conditional jockey that’s ridden him in all but one of his ten starts since joining this stable.

Race 5 No10 LOUD AS LIONS (Each Way)
Trainer: Tom Symonds – Jockey: Caoilin Quinn

After three breathing operations, LOUD AS LIONS produced a semblance of a sign that he could be on the way back when fourth at Fontwell at the start of the month. Having shown bags of promise when first going over fences three years ago, his engine has few miles on it, and he appeals as a lively outsider.

Race 6 No1 SASHENKA
Trainer: Dominic Ffrench-Davis – Jockey: Ben Ffrench-Davis

Corey’s Courage brings a class element to the table on her first run in over 200 days, but if not fully charged might struggle to cope with SASHENKA. The top weight gained her only win over jumps here in February before running a cracker in defeat returned to the track last month. She should come on for that, and as she’s a strong traveller who doesn’t find much off the bridle, her chance will improve if she’s delivered late.

WETHERBY

Race 4 No7 MAGIC WAVE
Trainer: Tim Walford – Jockey: Jamie Hamilton

Although lacking a run over jumps, MAGIC WAVE brings smart bumper form into the argument, having dotted up on his seasonal return at Ayr. This lovely prospect should prove too hot for fellow winners American Sniper and Henry Gray to handle.

Race 5 No2 KNICKERBOCKERGLORY (Nap)
Trainer: Dan Skelton – Jockey: Harry Skelton

Winner of a bumper, a maiden hurdle and two novice hurdles, KNICKERBOCKERGLORY made a pleasing start to his chasing career by sweeping aside his only foe at Ffos Las. He now jumps straight into a handicap, but as a horse with an abundance of potential should remain unbeaten over fences at the main expense of Sao.
