RACE 1
FOR FUN’S SAKE showed vast improvement last time out when runner-up. He finished 1.3L behind Fox Cheunger on that occasion and the form of that race warrants consideration in the opening contest at Sha Tin. MONEYMORE has some consistent form lines in this class. He was right behind the top selection last time out and looks the obvious threat. GALAXY EMPEROR is well-drawn and he should have no issues finding a good position in the race. He has taken some time to acclimatise in Hong Kong but looks a strong contender and can run into the money.
RACE 2
SPARKLING DOLPHIN won impressively last time out. He went from start to finish on that occasion and the manner in which he finished off his race suggests that he can make it back-to-back wins. He will benefit from a 1.5kgs claiming apprentice in this contest and is improving with every run under the belt. MULTIMORE makes his debut with Karis Teetan aboard. He has impressed in his trials and could get his career off to a positive start. GOKO finished 3.5L behind the top selection last time out. He is 4kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the tables.
RACE 3
BLAZING PARTNERS was only beaten a by a neck last time out on this track. He jumps from an outside barrier position but will benefit from a 4.5kgs apprentice allowance which brings him right into the race. THE FULL BLOOM finished runner-up last time out. He was no match for the winner but needs to be considered with only 51kgs to shoulder. SHANGAI DRAGON is much better than his last start suggests. The break may have done him the world of good and if reproducing some of his prior form then he can run into the money.
RACE 4
EVERYONE’S DELIGHT produced an encouraging debut effort when he ran on positively from midfield to win the race. He should still be ahead of the handicapper at this stage of his career and could make it back-to-back triumphs. SUPER MISSON returns from a four month layoff. He may have some fitness concerns but he was only beaten a neck by More Than Enough in his latest and if returning fit then he pose a threat. HARD PROMISE made vast improvement in his last start. He will benefit from a 4.5kgs apprentice claim and can confirm his recent improvement.
RACE 5
BEAUTY ANGEL is a two-time winner in Class 4. He jumps from an inside barrier position and brings form that suggests that he can reel off the hat-trick of wins. BUNDLE OF ENERGY was only beaten 0.8L by Natural Storm last time out. He looks held by the top selection on his penultimate run but should be right there at the business end of affairs. FULL POWER stayed on strongly last time out on this track and if repeating that type of effort then he can run into the places.
RACE 6
This is a very open contest where some caution is advised. ENZEMBLE returns from a break today. He was only beaten a nose by Defining Moment in his last start and if returning fit then he will be a strong contender. HELENE WISDOM STAR has his first official start in Hong Kong. He has trialled well and if enjoying racing fresh, he could let his ability be known in his Hong Kong debut. GREAT TREASURE is much better than his last start suggests. He gets Joao Moreira in the saddle, who will give him all the necessary assistance and it will be no surprise to see him find a swift return to form.
RACE 7
ALL FOR ST PAUL’S represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. He is 2kgs worse off at the weights with SO AWESOME but he should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest. He responds well to Karis Teetan and the pair should be tough to peg back in the closing stages. MIGHTY POWER is another one having his peak run. He was only beaten a head last time out by Angel Of My Eyes and he is racing off a competitive handicap.
RACE 8
CRUISING won well last time out defeating Prince Of Gems. He had the best looks in the parade ring last time out and appears to be in top condition. MERIDIAN GENIUS returns from a break today. He was only beaten by a nose last time out and jumps from the best barrier position. If returning fit then he will be able to pose a threat to the top selection. GOOD VIEW CLARICO was only beaten 0.6L by the top selection last time out. He is now 1.5kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the tables.
RACE 9
BIG FORTUNE hardly runs a bad race. He showed guts last time out when managing to hold off President’s Choice and will benefit from a 4.5kgs apprentice allowance in this contest. BIZ POWER finished 0.6L behind the top selection in his comeback effort. He looks held at the weights but has a bright future and must be considered. LOCKHEED finished runner-up last time behind Sky Field who went on to win again next time out and the form of that race needs to be taken seriously.
RACE 10
MIGHTY GIANT is unbeaten in four starts under Zac Purton. He went from start to finish in his last outing when beaten Not Usual Talent and he can continue on his dominant winning streak. SKY FIELD is an ultra-impressive sort. He backed up his favourite status to easily beat Lockheed last time out and definitely has the class to halt the top selections impressive run of form. BALLISTIC KING finished 1.75L behind the top selection last time out. He is now 3.5kgs better off at the weights and must be respected in the lucky last race.
