RACE 1

LONDON HALL narrowly
defeated VINCY in his comeback effort. He jumps from pole position and despite
shouldering top weight he needs to be respected in the opening contest. CHEERFUL LEADER tries ten furlong for
the first time. The way he races suggests that he will enjoy the extra ground
on offer and he can pose a threat to the top selection. BLASTOISE race a decent race behind Naboo Star last time out and he
will benefit from a 4.5kgs claiming apprentice taking some weight off the back.
VINCY is now 2kgs better off at the
weights with the top selection for a neck defeat. That should be enough to turn
the tables and finish in the frame once again.

RACE 2

APOLLOS BOW’S
last two runs have been very good. He is likely to adopt front-running tactics
and if allowed a healthy lead he will be difficult to peg back in the closing
stages. TELECOM MISSILE has produced
two good runs of late. He was only beaten by 3L last time out and he should be
right there where it matters most. GREEN
ENVY produced a typical second run after a rest last time. He was only
beaten by a neck in his comeback run and if repeating that type of effort then
he can run into the money.

RACE 3

MY SUGAR oozes
talent and he should be difficult to beat in the third race. He was only beaten
by a short-head last time, is still improving with racing and will strip a much
fitter horse. JADE PHOENIX finished
just in front of the top selection last time out. They meet on similar weight
terms once again and they shouldn’t be separated by much at the wire. SEIZE THE SPIRIT performed poorly in
his last outing. His form before that run stands out and if putting his best
foot forward then he can run into the money with just 50.5kgs to shoulder.

RACE 4

MORE THAN ENOUGH was only beaten a nose by Hang’s Decision last
time out. He is coming along the right way and his second career win looks on
the horizon. TELECOM ROCKET finished
a neck behind Here Comes Ted last time out. He is not short of racing fitness
and should be able to pose a threat to the top selection. CASIMIRO hasn’t finished far off them in his last two starts. He
should be cherry-ripe, looks fairly-handicapped and can find a swift form
return in this contest.

RACE 5

AMAZING ROCKY was
only beaten 1.4L in his debut effort. With the natural improvement that is
expected, he should take a power of beating. RUN RUN GOOD ran on from far back in his debut effort. He should
come on leaps with that run under the belt and he is another sort that is still
clearly up on the upgrade. MONKEY
JEWELLERY hasn’t won for some time but he performs well with Joao Moreira
in the irons.  The pair will likely race
on the speed and definitely have the ability to run into the money.

RACE 6

This is a competitive field and some caution is advised. SAM’S LOVE is the narrow top choice off
the back of his decent runner-up berth. He finished 1.3L Beluga on that
occasion and he can repeat that type of effort with the current champion jockey
in the irons. SOLAR POWER produced a
typical second run after a rest last time. If he can recapture the form of his
comeback effort when beaten a neck by Charge On, then he will be a strong
contender. BIG LUCK CHAMP has
finished third in both of his outings. He will be staying on well at the wire
and still has plenty of scope for improvement.

RACE 7

LARSON won’t
hesitate to go and dictate matters, should the pace be not hot enough for him.
He has won twice under Chad Schoefield and showed obvious signs of needing his
comeback effort. WINNING METHOD had
no luck in running last time. He had ultra-consistent prior form and it is
encouraging that Zac Purton retains the ride after that recent disappointment. MULTIMILLION finished third under
Matthew Chadwick last time out and if putting his best foot forward then he can
run into the money once again.

RACE 8

EXULTANT makes
his well-awaited return to the races after a five-month layoff. He won a Grade
1 last time out in fine fashion and has proven that he races well fresh from a
break. He shoulders top weight and deservedly so as he is the class in this
Grade 3 event. SAVVY NINE shoulders
a light weight in this contest. He comes off the back of a decent trial run and
looks to have been well prepared by his conditioner. SOUTHERN LEGEND has won three races at Grade 1 level and looks an
obvious threat in this contest. He also has race fitness on his side which is a
big plus and it will be no surprise to see him in the winner’s enclosure should
the favourite fluff his lines.

RACE 9

SCORES OF FUN is
the best bet on the card. He was defeated by talented sort Winning Dreamer last
time out. He is drawn wide but Joao Moreira retains the ride and the pair
should get back to winning ways. BEAUTY
KOBE is an unexposed sort that brings attractive Australian form. He gets
Zac Purton in the saddle for his Hong Kong debut who will give him all the
necessary assistance in the saddle. YEE
CHEONG PEGASUS returns from a five-month break. He achieved back-to-back
wins before his deserved rest and if returning fit then it will be no shock to
see him reel off the hat-trick.

RACE 10

TRUE
LEGEND

should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest. He was narrowly
defeated by Temple Of Heaven last time out and if he can repeat that type of
effort then he definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing
pundits. ANGEL OF MY EYES got up
where it matter most last time out to defeat Mighty Power. He jumps from an
outside barrier position but will get all the necessary assistance with Zac
Purton in the saddle. TAKE WHAT YOU NEED
has finished third in his last two outings. He is another sort that will have
to deal with a wide barrier position but his 4.5kgs apprentice claim will
assist him when they reach the business end of affairs.
