The Visionaire gelding TOWN FLYER had legitimate excuses for his shocking last effort when trying a mile and a half and the mere fact that he races so soon, indicates that his conditioner is pleasing with his progress. He was pipped in a thrilling finish when setting his own pace over this distance prior to that and is an obvious danger with Gavin Lerena in the saddle.
Race 4: BLINDFOLD(7)
Jockey: S’manga KHUMALO – Trainer: Sean TARRY
BLINDFOLD is a well-related juvenile who had a fair debut over this c & d in a strong field and that formline could be worth following. The Sean Tarry inmate weakened late after moving up well that day and she would have come on appreciably from the experience.

Race 5: RIVARINE(1)
Jockey: Piere STRYDOM – Trainer: Michael AZZIE
The three-year old RIVARINE was slightly disappointing at the highest level on this track early last month but may have needed the outing and will be much fitter today. Still, he finished just under four lengths adrift and of course the 3rd placed entrant Carry On Alice won a Grade 1 in her swansong next time out. This son of Var has a stiff task at the weights against older rivals but drops heavily in class and should prove equal to it.
Race 6: WUKKIN’ UP(2)
WUKKIN’ UP had an excellent 2016 after relocating to the Highveld but she did have some issues and returns from a 24 week absence. The smart chestnut mare is best weighted in this Pinnacle Stakes though and should love the likely sedate gallop. She has a good record over this distance and her conditioner is a master of bringing his charges back fit and well.

Race 3: OVER EASY(7)
Jockey: Anthony DELPECH – Trainer: Alec LAIRD
The So Var c & d formline on 28/05 could dominate the outcome of this contest and it may pay to follow the former’s progress in today’s opening event. OVER EASY was understandably green on his fair debut in the above-mentioned contest but recovered to show speed after being slow into stride. He has just over three lengths to find with the runner-up ZERODARKTHIRTY who was having his second outing that day but the son of Tiger Ridge could be a totally different proposition after that experience, especially if jumping on terms. He is favourably drawn and is retained by in-form jockey Delpech.

I am trying to get hold of your contact no as I have a few queries regarding your Beta form race card. your form lines are not updated and i have lost many p6 because of this eg last form of beach chaser today kimberely 22/05/2017 this is aregular occurrence and you might as well not put this out. I also have a problem in the form lines in that the form does not show which course the horse has run on eg vaal inside or outside track makes a huge diferrance to the time calculatins The guide does not indicate on the days racing which track they are running on eg kenilworth old or new PE poly or turf this s all very disappointing and needs cleaning up properly Thanks john email santerjohn[at]gmail.com phone 0825500771
