MITCH GOT HIS WISH stayed on nicely at the finish over this C&D against winners last time. That was his first outing as a gelding. The son of Admiral Kitten is back in Maiden Company this afternoon and with S’manga Khumalo back in the saddle, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

BUREAU DES LEGENDE showed very good improvement when finishing second in her last start over this C&D. She challenged strongly all the way to the line, but found one too good in the form of Dance Lesson. The daughter of Legislate is having her second run after a rest today and should strip much fitter. With a bit of luck from her awkward draw, she should be the one to beat.

KINGSLEY’S HEART showed good signs of a form return in his last start over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course. He has won twice and finished second twice from five starts over this C&D. The gelding seems to have done the trick with the son of Ideal World and he can return to winning ways.
