KEMPTON

Race 1 – ISLAND OF SKYE 9/4

Former course and distance winner ISLAND OF SKYE made the frame in all four starts since returning for a new yard in August. Bold bid expected wearing first-time blinkers.

GLORY SKY is yet to place in five appearances since a win attempting a shorter journey here in May. Thereabouts now eased in grade.

CURTIZ reappeared from a lengthy absence last month tackling track and trip to record a fifth of fourteen effort. May place racing second-up.

JUMEIRA VISION is probably best watched on handicap debut unless the market speaks in his favour.

Race 4 – MIDAIR 91/100

MIDAIR missed the start on Newmarket debut but bounced back to finish runner-up tackling the trip at Goodwood. Finds a good opportunity to go one better.

LORD OF LOVE is a son of three-time G1 winner Dubawi. Set to go well first-up for a yard who maintain a decent record in these types of races.

Fellow debutant REGIMENTAL CODE brings an attractive profile so cannot be dismissed lightly. MARKOON may improve second-up attempting this longer journey.

Race 7 – MOUNT ATHOS 17/10

MOUNT ATHOS is unbeaten over course and distance boasting two victories under James Doyle. Gelded since last in action and looks a major player against this line-up.

JUAN LES PINS just missed the frame at Ascot attempting a G3. Twice won at this track and no surprise to see him thereabouts.

The lightly raced ARATUS won a maiden here showing an impressive turn of foot. Looks attractive on figures and could be ready to deliver a big run second-up. TACARIB BAY may sneak into the placings.

Race 9 – LADY MONITO 7/1

LADY MOJITO has proven to be somewhat inconsistent since making all in a Redcar Novice Stakes contest winning by 6L. This represents a distinct drop in grade. Shortlist.

EPIC EXPRESS placed in two runs over course and distance last month and could be thereabouts once more.

It would be unwise to ignore AW specialist DARK SIDE THUNDER who brings five successes on the surface including two at this track.

In-form OPTIVA STAR recently delivered a Brighton hat-trick so rates an obvious danger.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 1 – EAGLE EYED TOM 28/10

EAGLE EYED TOM appears to be on a winnable mark resuming after a three-month spell. Closed off previous preparation having won by 1.3L at Beverley tackling a similar trip. Bold bid anticipated.

HEY LYLA aims for back-to-back victories following a Chelmsford AW success. Enjoys this surface. Chance.

GREEN POWER holds each-way claims after a good second at Kempton Park AW. May place. MASQOOL carries top weight. Could struggle to win off current mark but rates each way.

Race 2- WADACRE GRACE  9/2

WADACRE GRACE is likely to be well supported following a Kempton Park AW success over 1m. Step up in distance not expected to pose a problem. Leading chance.

REIDH returns to a longer trip after finishing fifth tackling 7f at this track. Enough speed to go close attempting shorter journeys. Bold bid anticipated in suitable conditions.

FLATLEY takes on more of a stamina test. Improvement expected. HARBOUR VISION (9) holds each-way claims after a course and distance win. Enjoys these conditions.

Race 5 – PHOENIX BEACH 4/1

PHOENIX BEACH draws closer to a well-deserved success. Last seen finishing third over 5f at this track. Step up in trip unlikely to pose an issue.

BANG ON THE BELL switches to the AW following a good second at Sandown Park tackling 5f. Contender.

CCLESIASTICAL has been in excellent order producing plenty of placings including a good second at this course.

SARAH’S VERSE holds each-way claims receiving a fair handicap mark.

Race 9 – LAURA’S BREEZE 9/4

LAURA’S BREEZE was only denied a nose second over a similar distance at Kempton Park AW. Firmly in the mix if replicating form.

MY BOY JACK resumed after a six-month break with a win at this track. Entitled to progress for race fitness. Bold bid anticipated receiving a fair handicap mark.

WILDE AND DANDY carries top weight. Good Chelmsford AW winner in latest and cannot be dismissed despite high mark.

SIR TITAN rates each way following a second at this track. Enjoys the AW and could go well.
