BEVERLEY

Race 1 – WARRENDALE WAGYU 18/10

WARRENDALE WAGYU looks well up to defying a penalty in the Go Racing In Yorkshire Future Stars Apprentice Handicap.

Trained by John and Sean Quinn, the three-year-old showed precious little in three outings last term but that always looked likely to change this season.

Gelded and making his handicap debut off a low mark of 60 at Doncaster, he cruised through the race before winning with the minimum of fuss.

He is out again before the handicapper can react with anything but a 6lb penalty and as the most unexposed runner in the field, it is hard to look elsewhere.

Race 2 – TOWER OF AFRICA 9/4

Gemma Tutty has really made a name for herself this season and that will happen when you win at such tracks as Sandown, Ascot and Epsom with your first-ever runners.

She has been around Europe picking up tips from some of the biggest yards and since taking over the licence from her mother Karen, has taken the stable to new heights, headlined by winning on Derby day with Blue Storm.

Nick Bradley has been a big supporter after spotting her potential early and the two team up with TOWER OF AFRICA in the Here Come The Girls EBF Restricted Maiden Fillies’ Stakes.

A very fine second on debut at Carlisle to a filly who ran in the Queen Mary last week, this daughter of Sands Of Mali looked well capable of winning a similar contest.

Race 6 – BLUEFLAGFLYINGHIGH 28/10

BLUEFLAGFLYINGHIGH was third here tackling the same trip earlier this month. Will need to find more in first-time cheek pieces but has a strong chance in the Racing Tv Handicap.

Bosc Girl resumes after an eight-month break. Proved consistent last year and goes well fresh.

Silver Gunn needs to settle. Provided two solid performances at Windsor over the distance this year despite not helping himself.

Tango Man struggled slightly on heavy ground last time out at Chester. Might do better here.

Race 7 – LADY OF TIME 9/4

LADY OF TIME was second on her first go tackling this trip at Nottingham last week. Showed improved form. Receiving a handy mark rates a leading chance in the Racing Tv Extra On Racingtv.Com Handicap.

Jez Bomb will finds this suits going back up to 1m2f since running 3.75L fourth over 1m at Wetherby earlier this month.

Little Venice drops back two furlongs in journey following a second at Catterick a week ago.

Makuri weakened at Bath over this distance in May while prior to that at Brighton made the frame for the first time, so shouldn’t be dismissed.

NEWBURY

Race 2 – PURE ARTISTRY 13/2

PURE ARTISTRY was beaten fourth on debut over this distance. Could improve for the experience and is one to consider in the Compton Beauchamp Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes.

Jennifer Wren is a debutant from a yard able to ready first time out winners. Worth a check in the betting.

Dear Cat finished fifth on her first run earlier this month and may take a step forward, while Geo might be suited by this test debuting and looks an interesting contender.

Race 3 – FLAMING STONE 11/10

FLAMING STONE is expected to come on for her reasonable Newmarket debut when turning out in the IRE Incentive, Pays To Buy Irish EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes.

Although soundly beaten by Mountain Breeze in the end, she did not enjoy a smooth passage when just starting to make some headway two furlongs out, so it would be no surprise to see her step up on that effort.

Andrew Balding’s juveniles often improve on their second outing and this Kingman filly is a half-sister to four winners, including Group-class scorer Angel Power.

Race 4 – ENTRANCEMENT 3/1

David Menuisier’s ENTRANCEMENT was beaten a nose last time out at Goodwood and can go one better in the Pump Technology Handicap.

Unfortunately, a 3lb rise for being beaten is hard to take but on what was her first run at a mile and a half, she clearly got the trip.

Race 6 – SAYIFYOUWILL 6/1

SAYIFYOUWILL only missed by a neck when second returning to turf last time. Could go close if replicating that effort in the Pride Embracing Every Shade Handicap.

Yantarni has won his past two outings including a 2.25L success most recently. Hard to rule out on current form.

Twilight Dancer was not beaten far in two runs since a victory. Might pick up minor honours.

Dutch Kingdom is a three-time all-weather winner. Needs to prove he can be as effective on turf.
