This is not the strongest maiden field and with Anathi Feni in the saddle, she should shed her maiden tag.

IPHIKO showed good improvement in her comeback run over 1000m at Turffontein last time. She was slow into stride, but raced from just off the pace and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Trippi is progressive and will love the rise to 1400m. If jumping on terms, she should take a power of beating.

JAIPUR JEWEL’S last four starts have been decent. He moved up well in his last start, but found one too good in the form of Duke Of Rain. He jumps from pole position this afternoon and may be the one to beat.
Race 7: RULE BOOK (8)
Jockey: Dadamasi G – Trainer: Laird A
RULE BOOK showed very good improvement when finishing second over 1800m on this course last time. He returns from a 10-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. The son of Global View should have no issues with the 2000m and if not in need of the run, he is the horse to beat.
