GOLIGHTLY was unlucky in her last start as she had to be steadied at the 600m mark. She won an impressive race over this C&D, three runs ago. She does not meet the strongest line-up this afternoon and with a bit of luck in running, she should take a power of beating.

ZIG ZAG took on stronger in his last start, but was staying on at the business end to finish 3.9 lengths behind the winner. He has won twice, finished second three times and third twice from eleven starts over this C&D. He has cracked a good draw of three and if getting off to a good beginning, he should notch up his fourth career victory.

DRIVE BY was her own worst enemy in a minor feature last time as she overraced in the early stages. She won a good race in her penultimate effort over 1300m on this course. She returns from a 10-week break which may have done her the world of good. If not in need of the run, she is capable of winning in this type of field.

EUPHORIC ran a good race when finishing third over 1600m on this course last time. He continues to drop in the ratings and takes a drop in class. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he should have no issues with the 1900m. From pole position, he can return to winning ways.
