FAIRY KNIGHT is a winner of his last three starts, the latest of which was over 1400m on this course. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. He did finish 0.25 lengths behind ZOOMIE four runs ago but is in much better form heading into this contest and may turn the tables here.

SILVER FALCON should have finished much closer to the winner in the Grade 2 Khaya Stables Diadem Stakes last time. He finished 0.3 lengths behind COUNTDOWN that day. He is 1kg better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. With a bit of luck in running, his trip to the Eastern Cape may be a successful one.

LIGHT WITHOUT was not disgraced when third against stronger company in his last start over 1800m on this course. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He finished third in his only attempt over this C&D. The 6yo gelding takes on weaker this afternoon and with a bit of luck from his awkward draw of eight, he can notch up his fourth-career victory.
