SMILING FACE was beaten a couple of lengths by Cordyceps One over a mile last time. He looks nicely handicapped and can feature if enjoying the step up in distance.

KUNGFUMASTER PANDA finished runner-up in his comeback effort after a five-month layoff. He should strip a much fitter horse and has the ability to go close in this type of field. OUR CREED has cracked pole and has entered the frame in his last two starts. He is likely to track the speed and will be mowing down the frontrunners in the closing stages.
14:15 – Race 3 | Class 4 Handicap | 1200m
Selections: 10/2/1
HERO STAR was only beaten half a length over this C&D last time. He comes in with a light weight and can give another good account of himself. BINGO BINGO finished a couple of lengths behind the top selection last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights and should finish closer as a result.
14:45 – Race 4 | Class 4 Handicap | 1200m

DRAGON KINGDOM was beaten just under a length by Sweet Diamond last time. He finished runner-up in May under Karis Teetan and has the credentials to earn his second career win. DURHAM STAR followed up his maiden win with two decent efforts. He was beaten narrowly last time and will just have to overcome the wide draw to have a say.

KUNG FU TEA was beaten a nose by Gang Of Brothers last time. He moved up like a winner on that occasion, will be looking to make amends and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. DRAGON PRIDE has placed in his last two starts and has already won four races this season. He looks nicely handicapped and should give the top selection a good run for his money.

The South African-bred SUPER DOBBIN showed signs of returning to best form when beaten just over a length by YOU’REMYEVERYTHING. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and can confirm his recent improvement. JAZZ CLUB is an unexposed Irish-bred. It is encouraging that Karis Teetan takes the ride and the pair will have plenty of followers.

NIMBLE NIMBUS was involved in a tight finish with Dr Winning last time and has the advantage of pole position. He won his penultimate start by five lengths and will be hard to beat if reproducing that type of effort. ESCAPE ROUTE followed up his recent win well when runner-up behind the progressive Keefy. He is likely to settle off the speed from a wide draw and will be doing his best work in the closing stages.
