SETANTA finished a length behind Turin Warrior last time. It is encouraging that Luke Ferraris has kept faith in the ride and the combination merit healthy respect. VOLCANIC SPARK produced a fair last effort behind Californiatotality. He is having his first run at Happy Valley and must be included in all bets.

BIG TWO has consistent recent form lines to his credit. Hugh Bowman has picked up the ride and he may be able to coax a little bit extra out of him where it matters most. MASTER OF LUCK finished three lengths behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on identical weight terms and he may battle to turn the form around.

DOUBLE BINGO produced an eye-catching debut effort behind E Universe. The young three-year-old should come on nicely with that run under the belt and he will have plenty of followers. COUNTRY DANCER comes in with a light weight and can feature if overcoming the wide draw without using up too much energy.

The grey DIAMOND FLARE finished 1.5 lengths behind Our Lucky Glory last time. He is nicely handicapped and from a good draw, can go close to winning this Class 4 contest. LYRICAL MOTION has been racing well throughout the season and is nicely weighted with apprentice Wong aboard.

NORTHERN BEAST got up to defeat Big Two in his last start and it will be interesting to see if the form line is given a boost in Race 3. JOYFUL PROSPERITY was a beaten favourite last time. He shoulders a handy galloping weight and will be looking to make amends from pole position. KASA PAPA is next in line.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1200m

The Lui-trained COPARTNER PRANCE has won his last two starts in good fashion. Zac Purton has opted to ride him over BEAUTY INFINITY and the hat-trick is definitely on the cards. KA YING CHEER comes in at the bottom of the weights. He finished second in his comeback run and could be one to cause an upset.

SIMPLY MAVERICK is talented and was only beaten a nose by IVY LEAGUE last time. His record at Happy Valley is solid and he can return to winning ways. YELLOWFIN has decent form lines to his credit and if converting his recent All Weather performances onto turf, then he should be involved in the outcome of this contest.

ACT OF FAITH finished 3.8 lengths behind KAHOLO ANGEL in his last start. He is 4kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. COLOURFUL EMPEROR has ultra-consistent form lines to his credit. He gets 2.5kgs taken off his back and can give a good account of himself in the lucky last!
