GO GO GO was beaten narrowly last time out and if reproducing that type of effort, he should take a power of beating. HAPPY HERO is another horse that showed good improvement in his last start. It is encouraging that Lyle Hewitson sticks with the ride and the combination merit healthy respect.
13:10 – Race 2 | Class 4 | 1200m

VALHALLA was beaten a nose last time out and can feature if overcoming the wide draw. SHINKANSEN produced a good comeback run under Keagan de Melo. He will strip much fitter and can give the top selection a good run for his money. TALENTS SUPREMO is next in line.

ATOMIC BEAUTY won well in his last start. He has cracked pole and can make it quick back-to-back wins. COMET SPLENDIDO produced a fair last effort behind the top selection. He is slightly better off at the weights and can give another good account of himself. MASTER TORNADO must be included in quartets.
14:10 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1200m
Selections: 10/12/1
LEAN MASTER had plenty followers last time when beaten half a length by New Power. He is drawn best of all and should be one of the leading contenders. SO AWESOME produced a good second-place finish last time. He comes in with a light weight and could be one to cause an upset.
14:40 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1650m

FOREVER GLORIOUS was beaten narrowly over nine furlongs last time. He drops back to a mile and it is encouraging that Karis Teetan has kept faith in the ride. CAN’T GO WONG produced a good last effort behind Atomic Beauty and it will be interesting to see if the form line is given a boost in Race 3.
15:10 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1200m

TELECOM SPEED finished a neck behind Righteous Arion last time. He has cracked a neat draw and can give another good account of himself. The course and distance specialist WOOD ON FIRE made a form return last time when caught late by Ace Power. A repeat of that effort should see him finish in the money. HIGH PERCENTAGE goes for a hat-trick but it won’t be easy from the wide draw.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1000m

YOUTHFUL SPIRITS finished 0.2 lengths behind BEAUTY WAVES last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the tables. SUGAR SUGAR returns from a 2-month layoff. He runs well for apprentice Alfred Chan and can show if fit.
16:15 – Race 8 | Class 3 | 1650m

SWEET BRIAR went close under Zac Purton in his penultimate start. He has finished third in all three attempts at Happy Valley and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. RED HARE KING is in a rich vein of form and the only concern is the wide draw. Hugh Bowman has picked up the ride and he will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.
16:50 – Race 9 | Class 2 | 1200m

TOMODACHI KOKOROE failed to deliver in a Group 2 event last time. He is better than that effort and it will be no surprise to see him bounce back to his best in the lucky last. HARMONY N BLESSED is in form and can find a good position from pole. GUMMY GUMMY finished 2 lengths behind BUNDLE OF CHARM on the dirt last time. He is also a decent horse on the turf and can feature.
