LEAN MASTER is quick out of the gates. He gets 3kgs taken off his back and may be difficult to peg back in the run down to the line. CHATEAUNEUF won well on debut over this C&D and can feature if overcoming the wide draw. NEW POWER must be included in quartets.

BEAU GOSSE was a beaten favourite last time. It is encouraging that Hugh Bowman has kept faith in the ride and the combination will be looking to make amends. PRECISION GOAL was beaten narrowly by Amazing Boy last time and a repeat of that effort should see him finish in the money.
14:10 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1200m

VALHALLA has good recent form lines to his credit. He comes in with a handy galloping weight and trainer Caspar Fownes has him well-placed in this line-up. DAN ATTACK has done well under Antoine Hamelin and should give another good account of himself. DENFIELD takes a drop in class and is capable of finding a form return.
14:40 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1200m

TELECOM SPEED hasn’t finished too far behind the winner in his last two starts. Karis Teetan has picked up the ride and he may be able to coax a little extra out of him where it matters most. RIGHTEOUS ARION has decent form lines to his credit and can earn if overcoming the wide draw.
15:10 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1800m

SERANGOON had good form before being given a two-month layoff. He has a wide draw to overcome but hasn’t put a foot wrong. The grey KYRUS UNICORN finished just under a length behind Galvanic last time. He should give the top selection a good run for his money. PRECISE EXPRESS is next best.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1650m

RED HARE KING finished a couple of lengths behind ZOOM BOOM last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. STAR CONTACT returned to form last time with a good effort behind Holy Lake. CHAIN OF GOLD is next in line.
16:15 – Race 8 | Class 4 | 1650m
Selections: 6/5/1
CAN’T GO WONG finished half a length behind I Can in his last start. He has cracked a neat draw and will have plenty of followers. SURE JOYFUL is likely to roll forward from pole. He is nicely handicapped and may be difficult to peg back at the wire. SIXTH GENERATION produced a fair last effort under Vincent Ho and must be included in quartets.

SUPER JOY N FUN is unbeaten from two starts. He is a serious talent and from pole, should take a power of beating. WINGS OF WAR is battling to earn a first win in Hong Kong but his form is very attractive. SPORTS LEGEND won his penultimate start with ease under apprentice Chung and the hat-trick is definitely on the cards.
