SUMMER SNOW has shown good improvement in each of his outings to date. He raced from a prominent position over this C&D last time and stayed on to finish second. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of What A Winter is a progressive type and can go one better.
Race 7: SPIRIT’S UNITE (5)
Jockey: A Domeyer – Trainer: E Steyn
SPIRIT‘S UNITE finished 0.4 lengths behind LIKETHECLAPPERS last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish. The son of The United States has cracked a handy draw of five which would make the difference. Aldo Domeyer is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

Jockey: C Orffer – Trainer: W A Nel
GO LIKE FLO has good consistent form lines to her credit. She finished 1.2 lengths behind QHAWEKAZI in her penultimate run. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is likely to race on the speed and she may be hard to peg back.

AMONG THE CLOUDS‘ last start can be ignored as she was reported to have over reached on her left fore. Her two previous outings over 1400m were encouraging. The daughter of Lancaster Bomber should have no issues with the rise to 1800m. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.
