Winning Form Best Bets

Race 1: POWDER PUFF (9)
Race 2: KARNALLIE (8)
Race 4: MASTER AND MAN (6)
Race 8: YOUCANTHURRYLOVE (6)
Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 6: MR FLOOD (2)
Jockey: M van Rensburg  Trainer: M Houdalakis

MR FLOOD has his peak run here and has been impressive in his first two runs back after being rested for more than a year. He shows plenty of speed and has proved difficult to peg back in the run down to the finishing post. Marco van Rensburg who has been on board for his first two comeback runs retains the ride.
TOP BET FOR TODAY
Race 7: SUMMER PUDDING (3)
Jockey: W Kennedy  Trainer: P Peter

SUMMER PUDDING is unbeaten in three starts, with her last two victories coming over this distance. She returns from an 11-week rest, but her trainer certainly knows how to get them ready to win on their return to racing. She has pulled pole position which is an added advantage and Warren Kennedy will be in the saddle once again.
Race 9: FACTOR FIFTY (4)
Jockey: W Kennedy – Trainer: D Nieuwenhuizen

FACTOR FIFTY has consistent staying form and held on well to win her last start over this c&d. She retains the services of Warren Kennedy and she must have a good chance of completing the double here.
Race 10: DANCING QUEEN (2)

Jockey: G Lerena – Trainer: R Magner

DANCING QUEEN won her last outing going away and should enjoy going over the extra ground. This is her hat-trick attempt and the manner in which she has dispatched her rivals in those last two wins would suggest that this is very much on the cards.

VALUE BET

Race 8: YOUCANTHURRYLOVE (6)
Jockey: S Khumalo – Trainer: F Habib

YOUCANTHURRYLOVE is the only runner on the day from the Fabian Habib yard. He seems to be a fair sort in the making and has only finished out of the top three places once and that was on his debut over six furlongs. He attempts his hat-trick today and will jump form a handy draw. Two of his four wins to date have been recorded over this distance and he finished a close up second in his only other start over the trip.
