MYNAGE battled all the way down to the wire in her debut over 1450M before being denied victory by a shorthead. She would have come on from that outing and looks to be the one to side with here. She can however expect some strong opposition from POWDER PUFF who has blinkers fitted for the first time.
Race 5: RUSSIAN BEAT (3)
Jockey: G Lerena – Trainer: S Tarry
RUSSIAN BEAT attracted solid betting support in his last start over 1450M and whilst he was running on in the closing stages of the race to finish second, he was still 2.75L behind the winner. He should however be respected in this contest with Gavin Lerena in the saddle.
Race 7: BIEN VENUE (2)
Jockey: W Kennedy – Trainer: P Peter
BIEN VENUE and NORDIC REBEL renew their rivalry this afternoon. The former finished 1.75L behind the latter in their last clash over this distance, but is 2.5kgs to the good at today’s weights and should be able to turn the tables here, especially as he jumped awkwardly that day. The latter is the only runner on the day from the Erico Verdonese yard and retains the services of Gavin Lerena. He also goes for his trio of wins and will not be easily denied here.

ICE LORD has his second run after a rest. He was not disgraced in his comeback run where he jumped inwards before being run out of it late over a mile. He won his first two starts over a mile, so he clearly has some ability and he may be able to get back to winning ways here.
