Race 3: WHAT A RED(1)
Race 4: SPANISH OASIS(10)
Race 5: MISTER COLIN(4)
Race 6: PARA HANDY(13)
Race 3: WHAT A RED(1)
Jockey: A Mgudlwa – Trainer: J Snaith
WHAT A RED is the clear form choice in this five furlong maiden contest and the improving daughter of What A Winter stayed on for a decent 2nd to her stablemate Alsflamingbeauty (placed on handicap debut since) over this c & d in her second local start recently. The Snaith inmate will be cherry-ripe on her third run after a 22 week absence and she has more to offer.

Race 4: FAYE(2)
Jockey: S Veale – Trainer: E Sands
FAYE expectedly found her best form on her return to this track recently when she made late headway for 4th in a highly competitive line-up, the formline of which is well worth following. This switch to the longer run-in, coupled with her good draw should see the daughter of Thomas Crown make further progress.

FAYE(2) |
Race 5: MERAKI(3)
Jockey: A Domeyer – Trainer: C Bass-Robinson
The four-year old
MERAKI has been consistent recently and he was outrun late into 2nd by the smart unbeaten youngster Vardy over this c & d three weeks ago. He comfortably accounted for an improving
SHERWOOD FOREST (0.5kg worse off) that day and the blinkered bay gelding has obvious claims from pole position.

MERAKI(3) |
Jockey: C Orffer – Trainer: B Crawford
The Brett Crawford duo of VICE VERSA and VODKA LIME renew their rivalry at a slightly higher level today but they could still fight out another exciting duel. Of course the former prevailed by half a length last month and is 0.5kg better off despite the resultant four pound penalty. She has obvious issues but clearly preferred the good ground. Her stablemate confirmed that improvement with a solid subsequent outing and she gets the narrow first verdict.

Race 8: SECRET DEPTHS(4)
Jockey: B May – Trainer: MJ Robinson
There are some useful three-year olds in this highly competitive final contest over a mile and this formline is certainly worth keeping tabs on. SECRET DEPTHS has already shown her potential and this longer run-in will suit the daughter of Elusive Fort perfectly.
