Her top jockey retains the ride on the bay filly who is her yard’s only entrant on the day and she should still be heavily involved in the finish.

LUCKY VEIL is improving smartly with each outing and he finished strongly for a close 3rd in a competitive field over six furlongs four weeks ago. The runner-up Draughlin could only manage 3rd next time out but this son of Muhtafal has given every indication that he will relish today’s extra furlong and should have much more to offer. His good draw is a major advantage on his first venture around the turn and he should go very close. The chestnut colt is his yard’s only entrant on the day.

HEAD HONCHO is a lightly raced four-year old colt who is still developing his merit rating and he has more to offer. He worked hard for victory after his jockey lost his whip over this trip on the polytrack last time but showed all of his determination and probably escaped with just a three pound penalty. The son of Querari produced a classy penultimate performance at this venue despite racing wide and is certainly worth following.
