HARVEYWALLBANGER has consistent recent form to his credit. He comes in at the top of the weights and definitely merits healthy respect. GURNEY DRIVE finished close-up behind the winner in his last start. He is holding form well and can give another good account of himself. PACIFIC PRIME finished runner-up behind Oliver Khan last time and can run into trifectas.

Selections: 6/1/2
JAZZ BAND found one better last time and will be looking to make amends. He has cracked pole and may be difficult to peg back in the straight. VALERIE PEGASUS showed good improvement when third last time. He can feature in this type of field. However, the obvious concern is the wide draw.

Selections: 1/3/10
AUTUMN BLITZ is coming off a hat-trick of wins and on form is really difficult to oppose. RHYTHM OF ZEN has decent form and finished third last time. He receives 2kgs from the top selection and can give him a good run for his money. KING’S SPEECH is next best.
09:15 Race 5 – Class 4A – 1200m
Selections: 1/9/4
PACIFIC FLASH finished second behind the progressive Tom’s Lightning last time. He has Singapore race experience on his side and will have plenty of followers. JB KAINGEH has fair recent form to his name. He comes in with a handy galloping weight and could be one to cause an upset. BATTLESTAR can show.
09:45 Race 6 – Class 3 – 1200m
Selections: 1/4/11
TOM’S LIGHTNING is unbeaten from two starts. He has a bright career ahead of him and looks one of the better bets on the card. PACIFIC EMPIRE finished 4.25 lengths behind the top selection last time. He is weighted to finish closer this time around and is capable of finishing in the money.
10:15 Race 7 – Class 4A – 1600m
Selections: 4/8/6
MONTANA FLASH is better than his below par last effort. His form behind Lim’s Betterready stands out. RS PARKER reeled off back-to-back wins before his moderate last run and it will be no shock to see him return to best form. Jockey L De Souza knows FLYING WARRIOR well and the combination cannot be ignored.
10:45 – Race 8 – Class O NOV – 1400m
Selections: 1/7/4
BEIHAI CAPTAIN has been no match for WitnessImpact in his last two starts. However, he looks well-placed in this field and should be one of the leading contenders. TOP SHOW finished 6 lengths behind the top selection last time. He carries a similar weight and may have to settle for the same result.
11:15 Race 9 – Class 5A – 1400m
Selections: 8/3/7
UNLIMITED STAR won his last start over this distance. He is taking on slightly stronger but could represent good each-way value with only 52kgs to shoulder. FAMOUS NAME is better than his moderate last two runs. If regaining best form, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
11:45 Race 10 – Class 5A – 1800m
Selections: 2/5/3
DARCY won well in his last start over shorter. He could make it quick back-to-back wins if seeing out the extra 400m on offer. MYSTERY POWER finished 2.75 lengths behind the top selection in his penultimate start. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating the pair in the run down to the line.
