FAMILY JEWEL was held up for a run in the straight last time. With better luck in running he should give a good account of himself in this opening contest. The grey SMART BEAUTY won his last start narrowly over this course and distance. He jumps into Class 4 and should be up to the task at hand.
07:30 – Race 2 | Class 5 – 1400m

DRAGON DELIGHT is nicely weighted with apprentice Ellis Wong aboard. He produced a good second-place finish last time and should be one of the leading contenders. HO HO STAR comes in with a handy galloping weight and the booking of Zac Purton to ride suggests he is ready to win after finishing half a length behind the winner last week.
08:00 – Race 3 | Class 4 – 1200m

SUPER INFINITY was a beaten favorite behind Mighty Strength last time. He was unlucky not to have won that day as he had to be switched out for a run at the 200m mark. AFFIRM has completed the quartet in his last two starts under Luke Ferraris. He carries a handy galloping mass and should give the top selection a good run for his money.
08:30 – Race 4 | Class 5 – 1400m

PERFECT PEACH won his last start by a neck. He is course and distance suited and would not be a shock winner. MEDIC ELITE is always competitive in Class 5 and finished 2.2 lengths behind the top selection last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the tables on his recent conqueror.
09:00 – Race 5 | Class 4 – 1400m

ENJOY GOLF has been racing well for Hugh Bowman over seven furlongs. He comes in at the top of the weights and will have plenty of followers. HANDSOME BOMB won well in his last start before given a 3-month break. He would have come on nicely during his time off the track and it is encouraging that Andrea Atzeni has kept faith in the ride. VANTASTIC CHOICE is next best.
09:35 – Race 6 | Class 4 – 1200m

REGENT GLORY’S last two starts on the All-Weather have been good. He runs well for Karis Teetan and can notch up his fourth career victory. ROBOT KNIGHT has some fair recent form on this course and if overcoming the wide draw he should be involved in the outcome of this Class 4 contest.
10:05 – Race 7 | Class 4 – 1400m

TOP PEAK has impressive form under apprentice Jerry Chau. He followed up back-to-back wins with a good runner-up berth and on form must be a massive runner. CHATER GOLD finished a neck behind MISSION VOICE last time. He is slightly better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating them in the run down to the line.
10:35 – Race 8 | Class 3 – 1200m

CAPITAL DELIGHT is suited to the All Weather surface and he won his last start defeating SELF IMPROVEMENT. He will be doing his best work in the closing stages. TALENTS AMBITION won well in his last start and it will be interesting to see how he goes in Class 3. SUPER WIN DRAGON is next in line.
11:10 – Race 9 | Class 3 – 1000m

HASTEN DELIGHT finished 1.8 lengths behind FLYING HIGH in his penultimate start. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights which should just be enough to turn the form around. ORIENTAL SMOKE has inconsistent form lines but if putting his best foot forward he could be one to cause an upset in the type of field.
11:45 – Race 10 | Class 3 – 1400m

THE HEIR should have finished closer to the winner in his last start. He had to be steadied at the 350m mark on that occasion and still managed to finish third. He comes in with a handy galloping weight and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. SUNLIGHT POWER’S form behind Patch Of Theta stands out and he absolutely loves this distance.
