The grey MR GOOD VIBES has finished close-up behind the winner in his last two starts and should be one of the leading contenders in this opening contest. GOOD VIEW GLORY finished half a length behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on similar weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them in the run down to the line. COLONEL is next in line.

YODA’S CHOICE was beaten the narrowest of margins in his penultimate start. If repeating that type of effort, he should be involved in the fight to the finish. HAPPY FOR ALL produced a fair last effort in yielding conditions. He has some decent form to his credit and should give the top selection a good run for his money.
07:45 – Race 3 | Class 1 | 1400m

WONDER KIT finished a nose behind SUPREME LUCKY last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the tables. TAJ DRAGON ran against stronger in a Group 1 event last time. He is nicely weighted with apprentice Ellis Wong aboard and must be included in all bets.
08:15 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1200m

GLORY ELITE produced a good second-place finish behind LUCY IN THE SKY last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. YOU’REMYEVERYTHING is better than his last two starts. Hugh Bowman has picked up the ride and he may be able to get the best out of him.
09:10 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1800m

JOY OF SPRING has been narrowly-beaten in his last two starts under Vincent Ho and will be looking to make amends. ROMANTIC FANTASY finished runner-up in yielding conditions last time and another good run is expected. PAKISTAN FRIEND comes in with a handy galloping weight and could be one to cause an upset.
09:40 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1400m

The Caspar Fownes-trained SKY TRUST is unlucky not to have won a race this season. He finished half a length behind the winner in his last start and should give another good account of himself. ARIEL is nicely handicapped and never far off the winner. He could be one to fill the exacta spot. WAR OF COURAGE has decent form to his credit and the only concern is the wide draw.
10:10 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1600m

CHING produced a good comeback effort behind Tourbillon Prince. He will relish the step up to a mile and should be one of the leading contenders. VOYAGE SAMURAI has a solid record on this course. He is a progressive type and can feature if getting across from the wide draw without using up too much energy. ORIENTAL SMOKE is next best.
10:40 – Race 8 | Class 4 | 1400m

SUNNY DA BEST drew off to win his last start with ease. He shoulders top weight but should be too good for this field. CELTIC TIMES won his last start defeating Joy Of Spring and it will be interesting to see if the form line is given a boost in Race 5. YOUNG HORIZON has placed behind Winning Gold in his last two starts and should give another good account of himself.
11:15 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1200m

SUPER JOY N FUN is unbeaten under apprentice Jerry Chau. He produced a good comeback effort behind Wings of War and can get back to winning ways. FULL CREDIT finished a length behind the winner in yielding conditions last time. He runs well for Lyle Hewitson and can throw out a big challenge to the top selection. LADY’S CHOICE has decent form to his credit and warrants inclusion.
11:50 – Race 10 | Class 3 | 1400m

PATCH OF THETA is proven in this grade and finished a couple of lengths behind SKY HEART last time. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. YOUNG ACHIEVER is a former Group 2 winner in France. He showed signs of needing his first run in Hong Kong and should strip a much fitter horse in the lucky last!
