MY WISH produced an encouraging debut when beaten 2 lengths by Bottomuptogether. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt. BEAUTY MISSILE ran a fair last race behind subsequent winner Call Me Glorious. He comes in at the top of the weights and merits respect in this opening contest.
10:30 – Race 2 | Class 3 | 1650m

APACHE PASS finished a nose behind BERLIN TANGO last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. PERFECT TEAM finished third in the race mentioned above. He should strip fitter and can give another good account of himself. SUPER WIN DRAGON is next in line.
11:00 – Race 3 | Class 4 | 1650m

STRONGEST BOY is interestingly having his first run on the All Weather. He is likely to take his medicine from a wide draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners. BRAVE WITNESS was a beaten favourite behind G LINER last time. He has cracked pole and will be looking to make amends.
11:30 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1800m

JOY OF SPRING has consistent form lines to his credit and should be one of the leading contenders. The obvious concern is the wide draw. SERANGOON produced a good second-place finish at Happy Valley last time. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and can challenge the top selection.
12:00 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1400m

STEPS AHEAD has finished runner-up in both career starts and will be looking to go one better. GLUCK RACER caught the eye in his comeback run after a 7-month layoff. He comes in with a light weight and could be one to cause an upset in this type of field. STORMING DRAGON is next best.
12:30 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1400m

MASTER MASTERMIND finished close-up behind Divano last time. He is lightly raced and it is encouraging that Hugh Bowman has kept faith in the ride. VANTASTIC CHOICE finished just under a length behind The Winnabe last time. His last win came under this apprentice and the combination can go close to winning this Class 4 contest.
13:05 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 2000m
Selections: 5/8/1
UNIVERSAL HORIZON finished off his last race well when half a length behind Stunning Peach. He tries 2000m for this first time and can feature if seeing out the extra distance. SIMPLE HEDGE finished 1.6 lengths behind ORIENTAL SMOKE in the wet last time. He will appreciate the step up in trip and the booking of Zac Purton to ride is a big plus. PACKING HURRICANE loves ten furlongs.
13:35 – Race 8 | Group 3 | 1400m

CALIFORNIA SPANGLE is a multiple Group 1 winner. He comes in with a hefty weight and is still very difficult to oppose on form. MUGEN finished 1.6 lengths behind FLYING ACE in a Group 3 last time. He will enjoy the step up in distance and could be one to fill the exacta spot in The Premier Cup.
14:10 – Race 9 | Group 3 | 1800m

CHANCHENG GLORY finished a nose behind GALAXY PATCH in a Group 3 last time. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights and will have plenty of followers. FIVE G PATCH finished second in a Group 1 behind Rebel’s Romance last time. He drops back to 1800m and must be strongly considered in The Premier Plate.
14:45 – Race 10 | Class 3 | 1200m

LUCY IN THE SKY is progressive and finished strongly to beat Steps Ahead last time. He could be one of the better bets on the card especially if the form line is given a boost in Race 5. JAMES TAK finished 3.2 lengths behind the unbeaten YOUNG SUPERSTAR last time. He is drawn wide and may have to settle for the same result.
15:20 – Race 11 | Class 3 | 1400m

RUBYLOT raced 3-wide on the turn and still managed to finish just under a length behind HUGE WAVE last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. THRIVING BROTHERS showed signs of needing his first run in Hong Kong. He would have gained from the experience and can feature in the lucky last!
