Best Bet – BEAUTY ETERNAL (Race 3)
Value Bet – SOLID IMPACT (Race 10)

10:00 – Race 1 | Class 4 | 1400m

Selections: 14/2/8

RIVER VIEWS put up a decent last performance over this course and distance. He comes in with a light weight and can go close to winning this opening contest. COMPASSION SPIRIT has cracked a neat draw. He should relish the return to Class 4 and is another leading contender.

10:30 – Race 2 | Class 5 | 1600m

Selections: 5/10/7

GENERAL WINNER finished in front of BEAUTY NOVA in his last start and is a tentative first selection. BEAUTY NOVA a one-time winner but has decent form lines to his credit and he was only beaten just under a length in April when partnered with Alex Badel. The Whyte-trained BOYS PARTY should strip fitter after his comeback run and could be one to fill the trifecta spot.

11:00 – Race 3 | Group 3 | 1400m

Selections: 2/6/1

BEAUTY ETERNAL recently won a Group 3 in good fashion and should take a power of beating from pole position. He is loaded with ability and looks one of the better bets on the card. CIRCUIT STELLAR finished just over a length behind the top selection last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and looks the biggest danger.

11:30 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1400m

Selections: 5/6/7

The chestnut JUNE PLANET was beaten just over a length in his last start and a first career win looks to be on the horizon. NATURAL GOLD is likely to dictate matters and if allowed to use his action in front may be difficult to peg back at the wire. PERFECT PEACH should find himself a nice position from pole position and it will be no surprise to see him enter the frame.

12:00 – Race 5 | Class 4 – 2000m

Selections: 9/5/3

The Millard-trained SUPER HONG KONG loves this distance and was beaten the narrowest of margins in his last start. He is well-drawn with Karis Teetan aboard and should give another good account of himself. GO GO SIXTEEN won his last start over a mile. He is drawn alongside the top selection and can make it quick back-to-back wins.

12:35 – Race 6 | Class 2 | 1200m

Selections: 2/3/5

GOLDEN EXPRESS is yet to finish out of the first three under Zac Purton and recently reeled off a hat-trick of wins. He hasn’t peaked yet and can continue to extend his winning streak. WE ARE HERO was a beaten favourite behind Stoltz last time. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and is capable of throwing out a challenge to the top selection.

13:05 – Race 7 | Group 3 | 1800m

Selections: 5/4/1

TUCHEL’S run behind Beauty Eternal during the season shows that he is a horse possibly just shy of Group 1 status. However, he is nicely weighted in this contest and all five of his career wins have come on this course. BELUGA finished 1.8 lengths behind the aforementioned Beauty Eternal in his last start and it will be interesting to see if the form line is done any favours in Race 3.

13:35 – Race 8 | Class 4 | 1200m

Selections: 3/1/12

HONG KONG HALL was beaten a neck in his last start. He has finished second in both runs over this distance and will be looking to go one better. LUCKY GOR needed his last effort and only finished three lengths behind the winner. He will strip a much fitter horse and can get back to winning ways.

14:10 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1200m

Selections: 6/10/9

HELIOS EXPRESS really caught the eye in his first Hong Kong appearance when pipped by Golden Empire. He would have gained from the experience and is drawn best of all. MODULECONSTRUCTION has been consistent throughout the season. He was a narrow winner over this course and distance last time and can threaten with a handy galloping weight.

14:45 – Race 10 | Class 3 | 1400m

Selections: 2/4/7

SOLID IMPACT finished just under a length behind TAJ DRAGON on 09 April. He is 7.5kgs better off at the weights on that run and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. SIXTH GENERATION is coming off a hat-trick of wins at Happy Valley. He has also won on this course and will just need to overcome the wide barrier to have a say in the lucky last!
