The Argentinian-bred RUN RUN GOOD placed on turf last time out behind Jiangxi Stamina and if transferring that form onto the All Weather, should be a big runner in this opening contest. COLOURFUL BARON finished close-up on this surface in his last start and it is encouraging that Purton has kept faith in the ride.

NICE BIRDIE was only beaten a length at the second time of asking. He is improving nicely and the booking of Purton to ride suggests he is fit enough to win now. THE MULTIPLIER has been racing well on the All Weather. He followed up his recent sprint victory with a solid effort over a mile and should be one of the leading contenders.

ROCK YA HEART was beaten just over a length by IMA SINGLE MAN in his last outing. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. BEAUTY TYCOON has won his two starts in style and it is intriguing that Purton is now aboard the top selection.

TRUST ME was a beaten favourite last time when pipped at the wire by Compassion Super. All five of his wins have been achieved on this course and he will be looking to make amends for the recent narrow defeat. There are a few horses making their debut in this line-up and a close eye should be kept on the betting market.

TRUE LEGEND was beaten half a length by HANDSOME TWELVE over this C&D last time. He meets him on the same weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them when they hit the line. YES WE CAN wasn’t far off in the above-mentioned race and could be one to fill the trifecta spot.
9:35 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1000m

JUNEAU FLASH was a beaten favourite last time behind back-to-back winner Faribault. Things didn’t go his way on that occasion and was only brought out for a run in the closing stages. It’s his first run at Sha Tin and should be right there if suited to the course. CHEVAL VALIANT is very quick out the gates. He is likely to show off his customary pace and may be difficult to peg back at the wire.
10:05 – Race 7 | Group 1 – 1600m

GOLDEN SIXTY was catching CALIFORNIA SPANGLE in a Group 1 last time when beaten a neck at the wire. The pair meet on the same weight terms and ‘The Champ’ will be looking to get back to winning ways. ROMANTIC WARRIOR interestingly drops back to a mile and renews his healthy rivalry with the second selection.

BEAUTY MISSION was beaten just over a length by back-to-back winner King Eccelente last time. He is nicely handicapped and should give another good account of himself. HIGH CLOUD placed behind pacesetter Hero Star in his last start. He steps up to seven furlongs and can feature if overcoming the wide draw.
11:15 – Race 9 | HK Classic Mile | 1600m

GALAXY WITNESS finished strongly last time when beaten half a length by TUCHEL. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. PACKING TREADMILL was a narrow winner in his first start over a mile. He is going for four wins on the trot and is a strong contender in the Hong Kong Classic Mile.
11:50 – Race 10 | Class 3 | 1400m

STUNNING IMPACT was running on too late when beaten 3.5 lengths by Sinba. He finished 2.5 lengths behind AMAZING VICTORY on that occasion and there shouldn’t be much between the pair. TAMRA BLITZ snuck up the inside rail to beat Perfetto by a couple of lengths last time. He is taking on stronger in the lucky last but should be up to the task at hand.
