FIERY PEGASUS ran on powerfully when winning her last start over 1400m on the Standside course. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. She was not disgraced when seventh in the Grade 1 Allan Robertson Championship in her penultimate run. The daughter of Captain Of All has class about her and she should take a power of beating.
Race 2: CHESTNUT BOMBER (4)
Jockey: S Khumalo – Trainer: J A Jansev/Vuuren
CHESTNUT BOMBER followed up his maiden victory with a good third-place finish over this distance on the Vaal Classic course. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. The son of Lancaster Bomber carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs with S’manga Khumalo booked to ride. He will strip much fitter and should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
Race 3: SHES EVERYTHING (7)
Jockey: R Danielson – Trainer: P Matchett
SHES EVERYTHING showed good improvement in her last start over 1600m on the Standside course. She was settled at the rear of the field and ran on well at the finish. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. Raymond Danielson retains the ride and there should be more to come.
Race 9: TOWERS OF GOLD (7)
Jockey: K Matsunyane – Trainer: P Matchett
TOWERS OF GOLD has run three good races to date. He lost a length leaving the start over 1600m last time and stayed on to finish second. The son of Gimmethegreenlight will love the rise to 1800m. If getting away to a clean start, he should shed his maiden tag.

AMERICAN BISCUIT finished 0.05 lengths behind SAFE SPACE last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The 5yo gelding is a versatile type and with Piere Strydom retaining the ride, he should be the one to beat.
