It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Canford Cliffs is a progressive type and she can follow up with another victory.
Race 7: MOVER AND SHAKER (1)
Jockey: G Lerena – Trainer: F Habib
MOVER AND SHAKER ran a good race when fourth over 1000m on this course last time. He showed good speed before getting outrun late. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and in this field, he may be hard to peg back. TAIKONAUT finished 0.75 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

RAISEAHALLELUJAH was doing his best work at the finish when second in the Listed Lonsdale Stirrup Cup last time. He has won once and finished second three times from five starts over this C&D. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
