The three-year old DEFY GRAVITY benefitted heavily from blinkers as he produced an eye-catching last performance behind subsequent winner My Favourite Brown earlier this month. He was only a head behind the runner-up YER-MAAN that day after finding much traffic problems but ran on strongly and can turn the form around over the extra furlong. The pair meet on similar weight terms so the veteran latter has definite claims from the best draw.
