DRESSED TO IMPRESS is highly rated by her conditioner and her smart handicap debut performance when trying this trip three weeks ago proved exactly why. The lightly raced daughter of Pathfork quite surprisingly escaped without punishment after that eye-catching effort and she looks a progressive type.

The Johan Janse van Vuuren yard holds a really strong hand in this final event and the promising but injury plagued import, HARD BALL could be the right one if allowed to dictate his own terms. The son of Choisir was beaten into 2nd by two smart types from the Robbie Sage yard earlier in spring and the blinkers clearly suited the gelding. He returns from a 24 week absence.
