GOFLYAKITE confirmed his affection for this c & d with a smart last run in a competitive field and it comes as little surprise that his conditioner is playing to his strengths. The costly to follow bay gelding will be retained by Sturgeon and he should give another very good account of himself.

JUST A REMINDER produced two useful comeback sprints after a long layoff recently and she has lots of scope for further progress. She should relish going back over the seven furlongs and has strong claims for her in-form yard. The well-related daughter of Captain Al is favourably drawn.

The track specialist NATION BUILDER produced an exciting finishing burst to beat subsequent winner Profit Ratio going away over this c & d last time out. He was only penalized three pounds for that run and despite taking on stronger now, he is still well handicapped.
Race 6: WILL PAYS(4)
Jockey: Karl ZECHNER – Trainer: Michael AZZIE
The day’s topliner is a very competitive handicap that features some decent types and an exciting finish is expected. WILL PAYS is consistent and he gets the narrow first verdict on his peak showing. He conceded chunks of weight to some useful sorts but still ran on smartly for 3rd over 1450m in a similar field, three weeks ago. The four-year-old gelding won his only start over this distance.
