The son of Windrush crushed a decent field of sprinters at feature level over this c & d in his penultimate run and will be a different proposit- ion from barrier 1 today. Furthermore, he gets the services of red-hot veteran jockey Andrew Fortune.

SLICK DEPUTY has hit a purple patch in her career and she comes here in search of a hat-trick of wins. She quickened impressively to blow away a quality field over this c & d last time and deserved her maximum eight pound penalty. The daughter of Go Deputy drops heavily in class and she meets many of her rivals on favourable terms, so has definite claims of notching up the victory.
Race 6: DOVER BEACH(2)
Jockey: Murray C – Trainer: Azzie M G
DOVER BEACH is in good form and she drops in class. She has a decent sand record and this track has suited her racing style recently. The mile isn’t a concern as she fought back well when beaten a neck in her penultimate run and she can certainly go one better.
Race 8: DE LA VERE(1)
DE LA VERE has found some good from recently and he followed-up his easy maiden victory with a solid handicap debut on the grass over a mile, three weeks ago. His two sand runs don’t inspire much confidence but he could prefer this drop in distance and still has room for improvement. The Sarge gelding is well drawn and he drops in class.

FACEBOOK only tired late in a strong line-up over this c & d five weeks ago and that formline has been franked. He had two gutsy back-to-back wins on the grass prior to that and is in good touch. The five- year old gelding has cracked a good draw in this competitive event and he should be involved in the finish.
