TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Open Championship
11 – 17 July 2022

1) To enter the competition, entrants must bet on the Open Championship using their
Hollywoodbets account and they could stand a chance to win double the amount.
2) Points will be awarded as per starting price of odds on the selected Open Championship
round.
3) Entries must be received before the start of every round. Hollywoodbets accepts no
responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach
Hollywoodbets by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not
proof of receipt. Automatically generated entries or entries via agents or third parties are
invalid and shall not be considered.
4) Only entries made on the official Hollywoodbets Chalkline website will be considered as
valid.
5) Only one entry per person will be counted as valid.
6) After the round, the player with the most points will win.
7) In the event that no entrant guesses correctly, the prize will go to the closest guess. Should
there still be a tie in this regard, a random generator will be used between all close entrants.
8) Predictions should be recorded before the first game of each round.
1st R1250 Betting Voucher – (Prize will be doubled to R2500 if they placed a bet on the Open
Championship 2022)
2nd R750 Betting Voucher- (Prize will be doubled to R1500 if they placed a bet on the Open
Championship 2022)
3rd R500 Betting Voucher – (Prize will be doubled to R1000 if they placed a bet on the Open
Championship 2022)
9) The betting vouchers won must be turned over once at odds of 0.5 (5/10) before being
withdrawn.
10) The overall winners will be announced on 18 July 2022.
11) Hollywoodbets’ decision regarding the winners is final and no correspondence related to
entry will be considered.
12) Should Hollywoodbets be unable to contact the winners within three days then the runnersup will be selected as the winners.
13) Prizes are non-transferable and can’t be exchanged for cash.
14) Winners will be notified via a telephonic call.
15) This competition is open to the public. You will, however, need a FICA compliant
Hollywoodbets account in order to claim your prize.
16) By entering your guess, you agree to grant Hollywoodbets the non-exclusive right to publish,
feature, reproduce and use it for any purpose at any time in any of its publications, websites
and associated media outlets, in existence now or later.
17) Hollywoodbets reserves the right to revoke this promotion at any time and without cause or
notice.
18) In order to participate, the individual must be over the age of 18.
19) Every entrant participating in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and
accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
20) This competition is not open to Hollywoodbets, Racing Distribution, Winning Media or Star
Merchant employees as well as employees of Hollywoodbets managed entities.
21) By entering and participating, the entrant agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify
Hollywoodbets from, and against, any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes
of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to, or arising
out of, or related to (i) entrant’s participation in the Sweepstake, or (ii) entrant’s
participation in any prize-related activities, acceptance of a prize and/or use or misuse of a
prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death
caused to any person(s).
22) The winners agree to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of their
names and photographs in such publicity.
23) This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with
Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
24) Entrants by virtue of participation understand that information provided is collected by
Hollywoodbets and not by Facebook.
