Terms and Conditions
The competition runs between 1 June 2018 00:00 – 31 August 2018 23:59.
Cut off time for SMS entries is 23h59 on 31 August 2018.
Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the competition and have a valid (FICA compliant) Hollywoodbets account.
Top Up Vouchers must be purchased between 1 June 2018 00:00 – 31 August 2018 23:59.
Top Up Vouchers can only be used once i.e. one SMS entry will be valid for every R50 or more Holly Top Up Voucher purchased.
In order for the entry to be counted as a valid SMS entry, the contestant must have purchased a Holly Top Up Voucher from a participating Boxer store to the value of R50 or more.
Entries are not limited; all entries that are not drawn will be carried forward to the next draw.
The winner will be selected randomly via a draw from all valid entries.
Winners are limited to one prize only throughout the competition.
Winners will be announced at the end of every month.
The main prize includes one VW Polo NF 1.0 TSI Trendline (AW12LV) (includes radio, aircon, a full tank of petrol and licence of the vehicle only.)
The draw for the VW Polo will take place on 1 September 2018 (Saturday) at 10am and will be done at Hollywoodbets Head Office supervised by an internal auditor.

The cash winners need to have a valid South African bank account in order to claim the prize.
The cash winners need to provide Hollywoodbets with a bank statement (not older than 3 months) and a copy of their identity document in order to claim the prize.
Cash prizes will be transferred by electronic funds transfer into the winners’ nominated bank account within 7 days from the date of receipt of the winner’s correct banking details and a copy of the winner’s identity document.
Winners have 5 business days from being contacted, to submit their banking details and a copy of their Identity Document to Hollywoodbets to claim their prize.
The main prize of the Polo as referred to in point 11 is non-transferrable.
Hollywoodbets will not insure the car.
Hollywoodbets is not responsible for any warranties, maintenance or services or any other potential liability relating to the car.
The vehicle will be branded for 6 months in Hollywoodbets & Boxer branding.
The winner must allow Hollywoodbets a reasonable period to arrange for the car to be registered and licensed in his/her name and must provide Hollywoodbets with all information and original documentation required for this purpose, including an Identity Document together with a driver’s license in respect of the winner or his or her nominated driver.
Should the winner decide to sell the car to the dealership instead of taking ownership of the car, they will have to wait for the 6-month branding period to expire. The transaction will be between the winner and the car dealership and Hollywoodbets will not be a party to any negotiations or transactions.
By entering the competition, you agree:
that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition; and
to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners.
The winners agree to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.
Hollywoodbets and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents.
Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all of the above.
By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
