Customers stand a chance to win their share of R8000 in prizes from Game Stores, Pick n Pay, Uber, DSTV and Hollywoodbets. To enter, customers must place a bet of R30 or more on Lucky Numbers or Soccer in a Hollywoodbets Branch.
1. The competition starts 26 January 2024, at 08:00 am
2. The competition ends 12 February 2024 at 18:00 pm.
3. The prize consists of
– x1 R3000.00 Game Stores voucher
– x1 R2000.00 Pick n Pay gift card
-x1 R500.00 Uber voucher
– x1 3 Months DSTV Premium subscription
-x1 R500 Hollywoodbets online voucher
4. The competition will run on Hollywoodbets Facebook Soweto, Alberton and Pretoria branch page.
5. The competition will be limited to one entry per person.
6. The prize will be given based on the customer betting for R30 or more on Soccer and Lucky Numbers and dropping off their betting slip in the Hollywoodbets purple draw box in our Soweto, Alberton and Pretoria branches.
8. Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the competition
9. Five winners will be selected randomly through a draw conducted by a Hollywoodbets social media team member and a Hollywoodbets auditor.
10. Two draws will take place to pick the winners. The first draw will be done by the branches. Each branch will pick 5 winners.
11. The second draw will be done from the winners chosen from the branches. This draw will be conducted by a social media team member and auditor
12. Draw 1 will take place on the 13th of February 2024 at either the Soweto, Pretoria or Alberton branch with an Hollywoodbets team member and auditor.
13. Draw 2 will take place on the 20th of February 2024 with the social media team member and auditor.
14. The winners will be contacted telephonically on the 20th of February 2024.
15. The prize allocation will be as follows:
a) 1st prize (3 Month DSTV Premium subscription)
b) 2nd prize (R3000.00 Game Stores voucher)
c) 3rd prize (R2000.00 Pick n Pay grocery voucher)
d) 4th prize (R500 Uber voucher)
e) 5th prize (R500 Hollywoodbets online voucher)
16. The winners will be contacted telephonically about their prize.
17. The prize is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash.
18. Entries are limited to the cut off time which is 18:00 pm on the of 9th February 2024
19. The prize will be collected at either the Soweto, Pretoria or Alberton branch.
20. If the winner is contacted twice with no success, a new winner will be selected’
21. By entering the competition, you agree:
a. that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition,
b. to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners,
c. to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.
22. Hollywoodbets and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone, or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents.
23. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
24. This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all the above.
25. By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
26. Self-excluded persons may not enter the competition.
