Chiefs were lucky to beat the Sharks last week. Every week I mention the same issue with the Chiefs. Their injuries to key players takes them out of the playoff equation as far as I’m concerned. Blues at home are very difficult to beat.

This one should be close based on the fact that the Waratahs have to travel from South Africa and are playing away. It’s probably fair to say that the loser of this one will most likely not make the playoffs. So this is the perfect time to be playing at home.

Warren Whiteley’s absence through injury worries me. Having said that, the Highlanders have only ever won once at Ellis Park. This is clearly not their favourite hunting ground.

The Crusaders have picked their strongest available team for this one and they will also be buoyed by the massive support they have in Cape Town. Guys like Pieter-Steph du Toit have returned for the Stormers but I dont see them pulling off an upset.
