Benetton v Munster
19h00
Stadio Comunale di Monigo
Munster will look to put their disappointing defeat to Leinster behind them with a big performance against Benetton at the Stadio Comunale di Monigo on Saturday.
The men from Limerick were beaten by 13-10 at Thomond Park last weekend in just their second defeat of the season. A place in the final is all but assured, however, Johann van Graan’s men will take nothing for granted and should bounce back big here.
Benetton, without a single victory all season, don’t look set to realistically challenge Munster here. The problems at the club require more time to solve.
Verdict: Munster
Scarlets v Leinster
21h35
Parc y Scarlets
Leinster can leapfrog Ulster into the first spot on the Conference A standings with a win over Scarlets at the Parc y Scarlets on Saturday.
The reigning three-time champions dispatched Munster by three-points in Limerick last week in what was arguably their most important result of the season. They now trail Ulster by a single log point and will be eager to put themselves in pole position heading into the last few rounds of the campaign.
Scarlets are third in Conference B and two-points ahead of Cardiff with a game in hand. They will be confident of achieving qualification to next season’s Champions Cup no matter the result here. They may be able to keep it close but should ultimately fall short.
Verdict: Leinster
