“I think it’s going to be one of the games of the weekend. Scotland are a top five team in the world, really did well in the Six Nations and played some good games away from home. But they come up against a very confident Springbok team that’s playing really well.

“I like the team that they [the Springboks] have selected, not really many surprises in that. You can understand Jasper Wiese getting a chance, Duane is definitely our first choice but you can rest him for this game. I also like seeing Damian Willemse getting a start at No 15.

“So I think the Boks should win this game. It will be decided in the first-half, I feel. Their forward pack will be too dominant with the 6-2 split. We know what the Bomb Squad can do and I think they come on in the second-half and finish the game.

“The Boks should win this game by a 20-point margin.

“Let’s go, Bokke!”

“Siya and his team will be looking to lay down a marker. We know that in 2019 the Springboks didn’t win their first game, and I’m sure this time around they’ll want to start with a win. It’s not going to be easy.

“Jacques [Nienaber] has picked a tried and tested centre combination, which is understandable because Scotland have a very good backline, and especially that centre combination they have will definitely test the Springboks. That’s the reason Jacques went with Damian de Allende and Jesse Kriel.

“The Springboks should dominate this game and I think the starting XV will definitely lay down a marker, and when the Bomb Squad come on they will just pull away.

“I think it’s going to be more than 25-points; I see a big win for the Springboks. Hopefully Manie Libbok will have a good game as well.

“The blood is green!”
