Super Diski action is back to grace our screens after a weekend break for international football.

CHANGE IN FIXTURES ANNOUNCED ON 15TH OCTOBER via Supersport.com:
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has postponed four of this weekend’s scheduled Absa Premiership fixtures. The move has been necessitated by the late arrival of the senior national team, Bafana Bafana who are now scheduled to arrive on Saturday morning. PSL Chief Executive, Brand de Villiers said: “We have had to reschedule this weekend’s Absa Premiership fixtures because of circumstances beyond our control.

he Absa Premiership fixture between Lamontville Golden Arrows vs Bloemfontein Celtic at Chatsworth Stadium on Saturday will go ahead as planned, whilst a decision on the Mamelodi Sundowns vs Polokwane City fixture has not yet been finalized.

The PSL has set aside Tuesday, 27 and Wednesday 28 October 2015 as catch up dates. Kick-off will be at 19h30.

New fixture dates:
Chippa United vs SuperSport United moves to Tuesday, 27 October 2015
Bidvest Wits vs Jomo Cosmos moves to Tuesday, 27 October 2015
Kaizer Chiefs vs MP Black Aces moves to Tuesday, 27 October 2015
Platinum Stars vs Ajax Cape Town moves to Wednesday, 28 October 2015

Saturday 17 October

Golden Arrows 31/20
Draw 22/10
Bloem Celtic 31/20

It’s back to the Chatsworth Stadium for Golden Arrows as they play host to a strong Bloemfontein Celtic outfit. Abafana Bes’thende have won three of their four home matches, losing only to table-toppers Mpumalanga Black Aces. After only gaining a point from their first two league matches, Celtic have gone on to win four matches in a row. They are coming off a disappointing penalty shootout loss at home to Black Aces and will be eager for another three points, which will see them momentarily take top spot. However, Arrows are a formidable force and I see the draw as the most likely outcome.

Sunday 18 October

Sundowns 7/20
Draw 32/10
Polokwane 8/1

It will be David vs Goliath on Sunday as Mamelodi Sundowns host Polokwane City at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. After starting the season sluggishly, Sundowns are looking a team to fear following three good wins on the trot. The Brazilians have won both their home clashes so far, beating top opposition in Wits (4-2) and Ajax Cape Town (3-2). They are also coming off a straight forward 2-0 home win against Chippa United in the Telkom Knockout first round. Polokwane City lie in 12th position on the log, due to a horrific away record that has seen them lose all three of their away games. Rise and Shine are also coming off a 2-1 home loss in the Telkom Knockout, where they played against a 10-man SuperSport United for 55 minutes. Downs demolished Polokwane in their league meetings last season, winning 5-0 in their home fixture and 3-0 in Limpopo. Sundowns are this weekend’s banker bet.
