Real Madrid have signed midfielder Jude Bellingham ahead of the 2023-24 season.
Bellingham has joined the Spanish team from Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga.
“Thank you to everyone at Dortmund and to the fans for everything over the past three years,” Bellingham said in a statement.
“It has been an honour to wear your jersey so many times, in big and small moments.
“Even though I look forward to my next destination, I will never forget the journey there. Once a Borusse, always a Borusse. All the best for the future.”
Bellingham joined Dortmund from Birmingham City in the English Championship in 2020. He starred for England in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 19-year-old Bellingham scored eight goals in 31 matches during the 2022-23 Bundesliga – and captained Dortmund on occasion.
