Friday 6 May

11/10 Bochum | Draw 49/20 | Arminia Bielefeld 22/10 (20:30)

Bochum continued their trend of being Borussia Dortmund’s bogey team, returning home to host Arminia Bielefeld after claiming an unlikely victory during the 4-3 thriller at Signal-Iduna-Park, despite Erling Haaland netting a hattrick for the Yellow and Black.

Arminia Bielefeld make the trip to the Schuco Arena winless in nine league games, while the hosts can’t be considered as strong favourites, given their inconsistency and failure to score in three previous matches prior to winning in Dortmund.

Under 2.5 Goals is my play at 19/20.

Saturday 7 May

7/1 Greuther Furth | Draw 48/10 | Borussia Dortmund 3/10 (15:30)

Borussia Dortmund will be eyeing up Greuther Furth as an opportunity to get back to winning ways, while Erling Haaland putting the Cloverleaves to the sword by scoring hattricks in consecutive matchdays seems to be the order of the day.

Dortmund have conceded seven goals against Bayern Munich and Bochum in recent matches, while the hosts have managed to penetrate two of the most stubborn defences in Bundesliga (Bayer Leverkusen & Union Berlin).

In search of value, Borussia Dortmund & Both Teams To Score (Yes) at 29/20 is more appealing than 3/10 for an away win.

47/20 Hoffenheim | Draw 3/1 | Bayer Leverkusen 19/20 (15:30)

Hoffenheim succumbed to a 4-3 defeat against in-form Freiburg, failing to hold onto a 2-1 lead, conceding three times in the second half with Sebastian Rudy scoring a consolation goal before the final whistle.

Die Kraichgauer are now winless in seven league matches, while Bayer Leverkusen completed consecutive victories over Greuther Furth (4-1) and Eintracht Frankfurt (2-0). My prediction is Leverkusen displaying their quality and collecting maximum points, but my money is firmly on a high-scoring affair at Over 3.5 Goals at 11/10.

6/10 Cologne | Draw 31/10 | Wolfsburg 38/10 (15:30)

Cologne are short-priced favourites to claim their fifth straight victory on home soil against a wounded Wolfsburg team that have won just once in 11 Bundesliga matches away from home.

The Wolves come into the clash after a 5-0 win over Mainz and sharing the spoils in a 1-1 stalemate at Stuttgart last weekend. Again, even though I fancy Cologne, I’m shying away from picking a winner and selecting Over 3.5 Goals at 31/20 odds.

19/20 Freiburg | Draw 26/10 | Union Berlin 26/10 (15:30)

Freiburg are finally living up the nickname – Breisgau-Brasilianer (Breisgau Brazilians) – sitting proudly in fourth-place with just two Bundesliga matches left to play and not forgetting their DFB Pokal final against RB Leipzig with an opportunity to get their hands-on silverware.

The home team have lost just once in 11 games, a 4-1 defeat to Bayern Munich and are firm favourites in this matchup. Union Berlin are on the cusp of making it into the UEFA Europa League qualification spots, losing two points to Greuther Furth last time out saw them dropout and know nothing less than victory is expected.

Under 2.5 Goals is my selection, to come home flying for the fifth straight meeting between these opponents at even money.

31/10 Hertha Berlin | Draw 24/10 | Mainz 33/20 (18:30)

Hertha play host to Mainz at the Olympiastadion Berlin hoping to accumulate three points from their remaining two fixtures that would see themselves mathematically safe from relegation. Back-to-back wins over Augsburg and Stuttgart was followed by a 1-1 stalemate with Arminia Bielefeld, where Jorgen Nilsson’s goal stole a point at the death for Bielefeld.

Mainz snapped a five-match unbeaten streak, handing newly crowned champions, Bayern Munich, their third defeat of the campaign with Jonathan Burkardt, Moussa Niakhate, and Leandro Barreiro finding the net for the Carnival Club at the MEWA Arena.

Both Teams To Score (Yes) is the best bet at 13/20.

Sunday 8 May

12/10 Eintracht Frankfurt | Draw 28/10 | Borussia Monchengladbach 2/1 (15:30)

Eintracht Frankfurt’s struggles on the road continued last weekend as the Eagles were downed 2-0 at the Bay Arena. In recent matches, Oliver Glasner’s men also failed to beat Greuther Furth (0-0), Freiburg (2-1) and Hoffenheim (2-2) on home soil which doesn’t bode well for their chances.

Borussia Monchengladbach took advantage of a RB Leipzig team that had eye on their midweek UEFA Europa League commitments, winning 3-1 at Borussia Park thanks to Breel Embolo and Jonas Hofmann.

Over 3.5 Goals have been scored during the last five meetings between these opponents – follow this trend at 11/10 odds.

2/9 Bayern Munich | Draw 58/10 | Stuttgart 17/20 (17:30)

Reigning-champions Bayern Munich suffered defeat to Mainz last weekend that came straight out of left field. Meanwhile, Stuttgart find themselves in a relegation dogfight, trying to close a four-point deficit on Hertha Berlin.

The visitors are winless in nine away matches, suffering five defeats. Home To Score In Both Halves (Yes) is my play at the 11/20.

3/10 RB Leipzig | Draw 46/10 | Augsburg 8/1 (19:30)

RB Leipzig made their UEFA Europa League campaign their primary objective, losing both Bundesliga clashes against Union Berlin (2-1) and Borussia Monchengladbach (1-0), prior to facing Scottish club Rangers.

Do Augsburg have enough quality to pull off an upset?

They possibly do, but after securing safety for next season, there’s not much motivation compared to a team that are fighting with their everything to avoid dropping into 2. Bundesliga.

I can’t see RB Leipzig bottling this one – at 11/10, jump on Home To Win To Nil (Yes).

DOUBLE @ 4/1

Borussia Dortmund & Both Teams To Score (Yes) 29/20
RB Leipzig – Home To Win To Nil (Yes) 11/10
