PREVIEW: All eyes on the battle to avoid relegation in Premier League’s Super Sunday

The top of the table has pretty much taken shape. However, the final day of the Premier League season still has unfinished business at the bottom-end of the table!

The top of the table has pretty much taken shape. However, the final day of the Premier League season still has unfinished business at the bottom-end of the table!

Aston Villa 5/4 | Draw 26/10 | Brighton 39/20 (17:30)

Villa have enjoyed a really good season under Unai Emery, I suspect their pride will drive them to finish strongly here and frustrate a really forceful attacking Brighton side. Brighton proved me wrong against Southampton, but I feel they will be running on empty here. Back the home win at good odds.

Everton 9/20 | Draw 36/10 | Bournemouth 56/10 (17:30)

Everton have work to do here, if they want to remain in the Premier League next season, they need a really inspired performance and positive result. The Cherries are safe already and whilst I can’t accuse them of slacking off, given what’s at stake for Everton and the fact that they are playing at home – I’m backing the home win.

Leeds United 7/4 | Draw 26/10 | Tottenham 29/20 (17:30)

Leeds host Spurs knowing they simply have to get a win! Anything else wouldn’t be good enough, and even if they achieve that, Everton would have to also drop points against Bournemouth. Spurs will likely just want this season to end already, and I can’t trust them at all. So, Leeds on the Win/Draw Double Chance might be good value either way.

Brentford 39/10 | Draw 32/10 | Manchester City 13/20 (17:30)

There is a fair amount left for Brentford to play for here – they have been brilliant this season and now see themselves just off of the pace for a European position! City have already been crowned champions and might have mentally checked out of the league – if you ask me that might present an opportunity for Brentford. I think both teams scoring might be the shrewd play though.

Manchester United 9/20 | Draw 4/1 | Fulham 5/1 (17:30)

Fulham play with an almost beautiful style of freedom and confidence at the moment. They will know playing United at Old Trafford will be tough, but you can be rest assured they won’t simply roll over. United at home are a different kettle of fish though, I would hope that key players have a chance to rest ahead of their FA Cup final next weekend though. I think this could be rather cagey then, I’ll go Under 2.5 goals at 17/10.

Chelsea 19/10 | Draw 5/2 | Newcastle 14/10 (17:30)

This is a tough game to call, these two teams are having such incredibly varied seasons at the moment, and yet both of them might go into the summer break with the same goals for next year. Newcastle will know that Champions League qualification, along with their investment potential, allow them to possibly attract some big names…its important they finish strong! Back the visitors here.

Leicester City 12/10 | Draw 26/10 | West Ham 22/10 (17:30)

Leicester cannot look at their attacking ability and point any fingers there, they have been brilliant going forward and just cannot support that defensively. West Ham are safe and can’t be judged for now prioritizing their Europa Conference League duties…back the home win/draw and over 2.5 goals at 14/10.

Arsenal 4/10 | Draw 42/10 | Wolves 6/1 (17:30)

Arsenal have faded horribly in the latter stages of this season, and yes, I would go as far as to say that those suggesting it’s been an absolutely blistering season from the Gunners are absolutely right! They have been brilliant (given the context of the club) and I would advise anyone arguing otherwise to remember that standards and expectations are dependent on each individual club…

It’s a bit of a dead rubber game – but Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui would certainly want to end on a high. Over 2.5 goals is the pick at 5/10.

Southampton 54/10 | Draw 42/10 | Liverpool 9/20 (17:30)

Southampton are already down and out here, the real questions around the club largely pertain to next season and whether or not they want to make clear decisions now which earn them a speedy return to topflight football. There will no doubt be players for the Saints who will want to make a statement here but surely Liverpool is good enough to end their season on a high. Back the Reds.

Crystal Palace 15/20 | Draw 29/10 | Nottingham Forest 7/2 (17:30)

No Zaha, no problem it seems for Palace. Eberechi Eze remains in red-hot form for the Eagles and with this their last home game of the season, you can be sure Palace will want to claim all three points. Forest is safe and sound and playing away from home, they might not have the same impotence as what we saw against Arsenal. I think the home win is the play here.
