Friday 18 March

11/10 Wolves | Draw 49/20 | Leeds 9/4 (22:00)

This will be a hard-fought game! Wolves can defend with incredible discipline and patience. They have showed repeatedly that they are comfortable to continue playing even when their box is under serious pressure.

Leeds earned their first win under their new boss and the confidence such a result inevitably gives you should not be misunderstood. The game is then almost perfectly set up for attack against defence – but I think it ends in a draw.

Saturday 19 March

2/1 Aston Villa | Draw 49/20 | Arsenal 13/10 (14:30)

Yet another intriguing matchup. By the time we reach the fixture on Saturday, the context surrounding it might have changed a little bit – but the importance for both sides is evident, and that won’t change.

I expect Arsenal to take the game to Villa, they will look to impose themselves on the game early and dictate the pace. I think this might end up suiting Aston Villa.

It will take the pressure off the home side and possibly provide them a platform from which they could launch a siege and assist on the Arsenal! Nevertheless, for betting purposes I think both teams scoring is good enough. Get on at 13/20.

Sunday 20 March

1/1 Leicester | Draw 51/20 | Brentford 26/10 (16:00)

I’m not sure what to make of this game. I know I’m sounding like a stuck record every time I speak of Brentford – but until they register a performance that changes my mind…what else can I do?

Leicester is without Jamie Vardy, but the Foxes were unbeaten in their previous four fixtures before playing Arsenal and I think they will have too much for the Bees.

8/10 Tottenham | Draw 28/10 | West Ham 31/10 (18:30)

On Thursday, West Ham will play Sevilla in what many have begun to describe as the club’s biggest fixture in their modern history! Now the issue with games of such a magnitude is they usually have a hangover effect on the subsequent fixture.

Should West Ham win the game – they are absolutely buzzing. Should they lose, the negative effect might considerably ruin the run in toward the end of their domestic season.

Spurs is an opposition you shouldn’t take lightly; their shape and structure are undeniable and for the most part I honestly think they have looked excellent at times under Antonio Conte. I think the openness with which West Ham usually play might bring players like Harry Kane and Son into space – and that is usually the beginning of the end. Back the away win at pleasant odds.
