Together Brentford Football Club and Hollywoodbets will make their debut in the Premier League. Hollywoodbets have signed on as front-of-shirt sponsors for the next two seasons. You may have noticed that the Hollywoodbets logo on the Brentford shirt is different to the one found in South Africa. We explain this below.
Why is the Hollywoodbets logo different on the Brentford shirt?
A decision was made to change the font, going with a bigger and bolder font type.
We learnt a lot from the sponsorship of Brentford in the 2020/21 season while we were on the back of the shirts. With the shirt being red and white stripes, we needed to make the logo more visible, and more legible (easier to read). The thicker font, and logo in black and white, contrasts nicely against the red and white stripes.
We have stuck with our signature star, which sits on top of the Hollywoodbets text. This is still the same star as used in the South African Hollywoodbets logo. When looked at closely, the Hollywoodbets star is made up of various sportsmen and women, as well as sporting equipment, across all sports such as horse racing, cricket, rugby, tennis, football and more.
Is the Hollywoodbets on the Brentford shirt the same company as the one in South Africa?
Yes. The Hollywoodbets on the Brentford shirt is the same company as the one in South Africa. The logo was changed to be more visible on the Brentford Football Club shirt.
Does Hollywoodbets have customers in the UK and Ireland?
Yes. Hollywoodbets offers online betting in both the United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland. Hollywoodbets licensed the usage of its brand in the UK and Ireland.
Is Hollywoodbets using the new logo for their operations in the UK and Ireland?
Yes. Hollywoodbets UK and Ireland are using the same logo as the one used on the front of the Brentford shirt. Hollywoodbets South Africa is still using the original logo.

The Hollywoodbets font on the Brentford shirt is bigger and bolder than the logo everyone knows in South Africa. This was done so the “Hollywoodbets” would be more visible and more legible on the Brentford shirt. However, it is still the same South African company and brand.

Yes the Hollywoodbets colour is still primarily purple with yellow accents. The Hollywoodbets logo in the UK and Ireland will follow the same colour schemes away from the Brentford shirt.
