Friday 27 August

Udinese 13/20 | Draw 29/10 | Venezia 38/10 (18:30)

Udinese put up a valiant second-half performance against Juventus, coming back from 2 goals down to draw 2-2. A repeat of that second-half performance should see them as hard to beat here. Venezia’s first showing in the top flight saw them travel to Napoli and of course, no one expected them to come away with anything there, but it’s games like these where they will need to try and win as many points as possible. However, Udinese will be coming into this with momentum and that should see them get the job done here. Back the hosts!

Hellas Verona 42/10 | Draw 29/10 | Inter Milan 11/20 (20:45)

Hellas Verona were involved in a 5-goal thriller, going down 3-2 at the hands of Sassuolo. They face an Inter Milan who looked to have picked up where they left off last season, winning 4-0 in their first encounter against Genoa. Select Inter for the win.

Saturday 28 August 2021

Lazio 4/10 | Draw 39/10 | Spezia 6/1 (18:30)

Lazio were impressive in their first encounter against Empoli walking away 3-0 winners. They face a Spezia side who threw away a 2-goal lead, having to settle for a 2-2 against Cagliari. With Lazio at home, their quality mixed with the support that they are guaranteed to receive should see them run out comfortable winners here. Add Lazio to all multiples.

Atalanta 3/10 | Draw 46/10 | Bologna 68/10

Atalanta scored a last gasp winner against Torino to see them off to the best possible start. They face a Bologna side that fought hard to get the three points against Salernitana with a 3-2 win. Bologna, however, face a different task here and being away from home, it should be even more daunting. Atalanta, with their home support and quality, should be able to win this quite comfortably.

Fiorentina 12/10 | Draw 23/10 | Torino 22/10

Fiorentina were brushed aside in Rome last week coming away 3-1 losers, they face a Torino side who also suffered defeat in their opening game against Atalanta. With both teams wanting to fix their opening day losses, they will be trying hard to win this. For that reason, I am tipping the total goals market at over 2.5 goals at 8/10.

Juventus 1/5 | Draw 54/10 | Empoli 9/1

Juventus were denied a last gasp winner against Empoli by a few centimetres as Cristiano Ronaldo was ruled offside after his header flew into the back of the net. They face an Empoli side who were disappointing in their first encounter and with the trip to Turin, it doesn’t look like it will get any brighter. Juventus should win this quite comfortably but take them to win on the handicap (-2) at 15/10.

Sunday 29 August 2021

Sassuolo 1/1 | Draw 27/10 | Sampdoria 24/10

Sassuolo won a hard-fought contest in their first game running out, 3-2 winners to Verona, they face a Sampdoria side who lost 1-0 to AC Milan. With teams looking evenly matched, it really does promise to be a tight contest. This is why I am tipping the draw at 13/10.

Genoa 46/10 | Draw 7/2 | Napoli 5/10

Genoa were dismantled in their first encounter losing 4-0 to Inter Milan. They next face a Napoli team who put on a professional performance against Venezia in their first encounter walking away comfortable 2-0 winners. Genoa will try to be defensively sound in this encounter and should make it difficult for Napoli to break them down, however, Napoli have too much class and that should see them eventually break the resolve of Genoa. Add Napoli to all multiples.

AC Milan 9/20 |  Draw 36/10 | Cagliari 52/10

AC Milan won their opening game of the season quite well, coming away 1-0 victors against Sampdoria, they next face Cagliari at the San Ciro and they should really be able to win this quite comfortably. Cagliari came from behind to draw 2-2 against Spezia but should really be out of their comfort zone here. Add AC Milan to all multiples.

Salernitana 4/10 |  Draw 32/10 | Roma 6/10

Salernitana were not disappointing in their first game going down 3-2. They however face a different type of opposition today in the form of Roma. Roma were comfortable winners in their first game, winning 3-1 against Fiorentina and bringing that same form to this contest should see them run out comfortable winners. Back the hosts at 6/10.

Treble 52/10

Inter Milan 11/20

Roma 6/10

Juventus Handicap (-2) 15/10
